BLAKE’S PICK: In the Kansas vs Minnesota odds, the Minnesota Golden Gophers head into their bowl game on a low. At one point, it seemed like they might win a share of the Big Ten before finishing up the season with four consecutive losses. On the flipside, Kansas heads into this game on a high after stomping rival Missouri on a neutral field. Bet online with Kansas as the Big 12 will once again show why it is superior to the Big Ten.

The Jayhawks finished the season with a 7-5 record, coming in third in the Big 12 North, while the Golden Gophers were 7-5 in the Big Ten, finishing in seventh place. These two will meet in the Insight Bowl on December 31, 2008 at 5:30 p.m. ET in Tempe, AZ.

The Insight Bowl has a brief history, as it kicked off with a seven-point win by Arizona over North Carolina State on New Years’ Eve, 1989. Since then, in this contest which now pits the Big 12 against the Big Ten, offense has been the consistent theme as the last five games have gone OVER the Insight Bowl betting totals.
