Betting on baseball – Power Rankings
-
How are the Chicago Cubs odds looking?
-
Tampa Bay winning despite injuries
-
Manny Ramirez powering Dodgers to victory
Chicago Cubs. You have to like the Chicago Cubs odds at this point; the Cubbies are +355 favorites to win the World Series. Those odds might not generate a lot of action, but with Chicago winning 16 of its last 20 games, who else do you pick in Major League Baseball?
New York Mets. The Mets remain in a heated battle for the NL East title with the Philadelphia Phillies. If New York can keep playing like it has been, it shouldn't be a problem. The Mets have won six straight games and nine of their past 11. They're making betting on baseball easy right now for MLB lovers.
Minnesota Twins. The Twins and White Sox seem to flip-flop for first and second place in the AL Central on a daily basis. It's a tough call in online betting to figure out who will come out on top, but the Twins are as hot as any American League team right now, winning four in a row and eight of their last 10. No, they don't have Chicago Cubs odds, but +1010 odds to win the World Series is great value.
Tampa Bay Rays. Betting on baseball can be a tricky proposition, especially when injuries are involved. But the Rays haven't let injuries to Carl Crawford and Evan Longoria slow them down. Instead, they've earned 14 victories in their last 18 games. Can they sustain this pace? That remains to be seen.
Los Angeles Dodgers. Wow, Manny Ramirez brings a lot of juice to their lineup, doesn't he? Man-Ram is hitting .424 with six homers and 21 RBIs in 16 games since becoming a Dodger. With his help Los Angeles has won six of its last seven games. Arizona is in for a fight in the National League West.
