The music is winding down for Dancing with the Stars (Season Seven) and very soon I’ll have to put my tap-dance shoes back in the closet. There are three stars remaining: Lance Bass, Warren Sapp and the lovely Brooke Burke, and sportsbook lines that offer Dancing with the Stars odds list Burke as the favorite.
It’s been a crazy season of DWTS so far, especially with all of the injuries. Jeffrey Ross got poked in the eye in a practice session and had his cornea scratched, Misty May-Treanor tore her ACL, Susan Lucci fractured her foot and even the sports book odds favorite, Brooke Burke, injured her foot doing a flip in practice.
That just goes to show that dancing is in fact a sport and you have to make sure you have proper training before you move into the professional ranks.
For those who are professionally trained to bet on Dancing with the Stars, you have to like investing your money into Burke to win it all.
Females haven’t fared so well in DWTS betting, winning just twice in the six seasons, but Burke might be ready to add one to the female column. Brooke and her partner, Derek Hough, have had the top score in eight of the nine shows.
The one caveat is that the show they didn’t win was the last one, which Lance Bass and Lacey Schwimmer topped with the best score. But even so, you have to like the team that has had the best resume to this point and that’s Burke’s team.
The third remaining star is Warren Sapp, but he barely squeaked by in the last show. Dancing with the Stars betting lines still have him at +200, as the second best shot to win, but in reality he is neck-in-neck with Lance Bass.
Three times Bass’ team has had one of the lowest scores of the week while Sapp’s team has been solid, but not nearly as good as Burke’s team.
SUMMER’S PICK: Look for Brooke Burke to get one for the girls and pay out on the Dancing with the Stars odds for season seven.
