Tennis betting and Wimbledon betting odds can't be far behind now that tournament organizers have seeded tennis' third stop on the Grand Slam tour.

Five-time Wimbledon champion Roger Federer drew the top seed on the men's side. Top-ranked Ana Ivanovic drew No. 1 on the women's draw. The tournament begins Monday, June 23 and runs until Sunday, July 6.

It's no surprise Federer is considered the favorite; he's unquestionably the best player in the world between the lines and has enjoyed immense success at Wimbledon the past few years. He's faced Rafael Nadal in the final the past two years and a similar outcome wouldn't be unexpected, as Nadal drew the No. 2 seed.

Ivanovic has never appeared in a Wimbledon final (she made the semis a year ago) but certainly has the juice to win it all this year. The Williams sisters have dominated Wimbledon in recent years?Venus and Serena have won six of the last eight tournaments?and will be threats again this year, being seeded sixth and seventh, respectively. Despite not being top-five seeds, they're a good bet to make some noise.

Other notable seeds on the men's side include Australian Open champ and No. 3-seed Novak Djokovic (Wimbledon semis in 2007); No. 4 Nikolay Davydenko (fouth round in '07); No. 5 David Ferrer (second round in '07); No. 6 Andy Roddick (quarter-final in '07); and No. 7 David Nalbandian (third round in '07). Roddick might make a nice underdog pick, as there's no limit to his talent and he's finished as runner up to Federer twice at Wimbledon. James Blake is the next highest-ranked American after Roddick, seeded at No. 9. Blake has reached the third round in each of the past two years.

On the women's side, Jelena Jankovic comes in at No. 2 (fourth round in '07), followed by No. 3-seed and 2004 winner Maria Sharapova (fourth round in '07); No. 4 Svetlana Kuznetsova (quarter-final in '07); No. 5 Elena Dementieva (third round in '07); and the multi-time champion Williams sisters at six and seven.

The action promises to be great at the 2008 Wimbledon tournament. Draws will be announced Friday, June 20 and there are numerous options to choose from when tennis betting, so keep your eyes out for the BetOnline.com Sportsbook Wimbledon betting odds.
