MLB Betting – Yankees Odds
-
Yankees playoff hopes fading
-
Rays coping with injuries
-
NL East, West up for grabs
New York Yankees at Toronto Blue Jays: August 19-21 at Rogers Centre
The
Yankees (66-58)* are fighting for their playoff lives. Last week there were rumblings that management had given up on
Yankees odds and the season because of injuries, but New York remains in the hunt.
Toronto (64-60) looks like its out of the action but, with the right teams coming up on the schedule (New York, Boston, Tampa Bay, New York, Minnesota, Tampa Bay, White Sox, Boston), a great run could get the Blue Jays back in the playoff picture. Stranger things have happened, but you have to like the
Yankees odds better.
Los Angeles Angels at Tampa Bay Rays: August 18-20 at Tropicana Field
The
Angels (76-46) are looking like
a great pick as
World Series favorite at this point. Los Angeles is proving to be a great all-around and it's a good bet to make some noise in the playoffs.
Tampa Bay's season could be derailed thanks to injuries. The Rays (75-48) will have to carry on for a while without the services of
Evan Longoria and
Carl Crawford.
Online betting should have them as underdogs against L.A.
Florida Marlins at Arizona Diamondbacks: August 22-24 at Chase Field
Both teams are furiously
fighting for a playoff spot. The
Diamondbacks (64-60) are hoping recently acquired slugger
Adam Dunn add some juice to the lineup.
Florida (64-61) is struggling to stay keep pace in a
tight NL East race. These young teams will make
online betting fun down the stretch. Will they fold under the pressure or excel when it counts?
Los Angeles Dodgers at Philadelphia Phillies: August 22-25 at Citizens Bank Park
Here's two more teams buried in the
tight National League playoffs race. The
Phillies (66-58) are duking it out with the Marlins and New York Mets for a shot at the NL East. The
Dodgers (64-60) are trading first place with Arizona in the NL West on a daily basis. This series should have a
playoff atmosphere to it.
*All team records are as of Sunday, August 17
