Wake Forest Demon Deacons (-12) @ Baylor Bears – Thursday, 8:00 PM ET
The cupboard is pretty bare for Art Briles as he takes over the Baylor Bears program and although it would be a pretty good story for him to pull off an upset in his home opener, the reality is that it is not very likely. That's where NCAA football teaser betting kicks in.
Wake Forest is an ACC contender and quite frankly, might be second in line to win the conference behind favorite Clemson. Baylor is one of the worst teams in the Big 12.
But the Deacons sometimes play to the level of their opponent, which might make this game tighter than it needs to be. Teasing this game down should provide some insurance for the cover.

Hawaii Warriors @ Florida Gators (-35) – Saturday, 12:30 PM ET
The Hawaii Warriors have lost their head coach, quarterback Colt Brennan and their top four wide receivers. They also are fresh off a big pimp-smacking in the Sugar Bowl by a different SEC team: Georgia.
Now the Warriors head to Florida, one of the best teams in the country, with a short-handed roster.
The Gators and their head coach Urban Meyer love to run up the score but the 35-point spread still scares me a little. I'll gladly tease it down a bit and breathe a little easier.

TCU Horned Frogs (-6.5) @ New Mexico Lobos – Saturday, 6:00 PM ET
TCU stomped New Mexico 37-0 last season but the Lobos still went on to win nine games and a different animal this year.
All the attention is on BYU and Utah in the Mountain West conference but TCU is not far back. They have aspirations to win the conference as well and they can't afford any early season slip ups and still make a dent.
TCU has won its last five season openers so NCAA football teaser betting makes sense here to tease the game down to (essentially) a PICK.
