She currently sits in sixth in the points standings heading into Indy and, after a disappointing 19th-place finish at St. Petersburg to open the season, Patrick bounced back with a fourth-place run at Long Beach and a fifth-place finish at Kansas. She finally won her first race last year in Japan, becoming the first female driver to win a race at the highest level of American auto racing.
