The Camping World Truck Series heads to Texas Motor Speedway, where Ron Hornaday is the defending race-winner. The last three Truck races in the Lone Star State have all gone into overdrive with a green-white-checkered finish, which usually means some exciting fireworks at the end for NASCAR odds. Kyle Busch finished second to Hornaday last year, while Todd Bodine won back-to-back here in 2006 and 2007. Offshore sportsbook odds will be crowded at the top for what will arguably be the most exciting race of the weekend.
Federated Auto Parts 300, June 6, 7:30 PM ET
Brad Keselowski won his first career Nationwide race in this event last year at Nashville Superspeedway, ending Carl Edwards’ attempt at three straight victories in Tennessee. However, Clint Bowyer is the king of this track with top-fives in all five of his trips to Nashville. Edwards has a pair of checkered flags in three visits, while Denny Hamlin, Kevin Harvick and Martin Truex Jr. will all threaten for the top 10, so online betting players should keep an eye out for these drivers in NASCAR odds.
Pocono 500 odds, June 7, 2:00 PM ET
Finally, the Sprint Cup Series wraps up the weekend at Pocono Raceway, which is a 2.5-mile track, but it isn’t a restrictor-plate track like Daytona and Talladega because of its unique configuration. It’s similar to a tri-oval with three turns, but with the lack of banking, speeds are far lower than the ovals of Talladega. Kasey Kahne came away with the checkered flag, starting from the pole and leading a race-high 69 laps. Brian Vickers, Denny Hamlin, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jeff Burton rounded out the top five. Jimmie Johnson finished sixth and was second in laps led with 59, and after his stirring win last week at Dover, the No.48 car will definitely be a favorite in your NASCAR betting.
Born in the betting capital of Las Vegas, Lee-Roy has grown to appreciate the likes of IndyCar and Formula 1 racing, but his first love is the high-speed ovals of NASCAR and he is a HUGE Tony Stewart fan. When it comes to motorsports handicapping, Buckles takes the checkered flag. Thoughts or questions? Email Comments@BetOnline.com.
