Dodgers vs Brewers Odds - Dodgers will roll into break with Milwaukee win
Two of the top teams in the National League will hit Miller Field for a three-game series beginning on Friday, as the Milwaukee Brewers host the MLB-leading Los Angeles Dodgers. Your offshore sportsbook should favor the Brewers at home, but the Dodgers have been a machine over the first half, and they should head into the MLB All-Star betting break with another series win.
Dodgers vs Brewers Odds: Dodgers deserve status as best team of first half
- Billingsley is a beast on the road
- Weaver is solid in the rotation or from the ballpen
- Gallardo drops Kershaw in a battle of top young pitchers

Chad Billingsley (9-4. 3.14) vs Braden Looper (7-4, 4.78)
Billingsley hit his first career homer and allowed three runs in eight innings, but still took his third no-decision in four starts in a 7-6 13-inning win in San Diego. The 24-year-old righthander was named to his first All-Star game, but he still has some control issues as he is third in the NL in walks. Billingsley has faced the Brewers four times in his career, including two starts, and he has a 2-0 record despite a 4.02 ERA. He’ll take on Looper, who has won his last two outings and threw a season-high 112 pitches in a win in Chicago, although that was in only six innings of work. The 34-year-old has made 26 appearances against the Dodgers but only one start, and he has a 3-3 record with one save and a 4.68 ERA. Billingsley is 3-1 in nine road starts with a 2.92 ERA, while Looper is 4-1 in 10 home outings with a 4.03 ERA. Take Billingsley to outlast the veteran in these sports betting odds.

Jeff Weaver (5-2, 3.32) vs Mike Burns (1-2, 5.57)
Weaver has been bouncing the rotation and bullpen all season, but in his last start, he got the best of his little brother Jered in a 6-4 road win over the Angels on June 20th. Weaver tossed three hitless innings to earn the win in that 13-inning game over the Padres. The 32-year-old righty has made only two starts at Miller Park, but he’s done well when he goes there with a 1-1 record to go with a 1.38 ERA. Burns got rocked in Chicago, allowing seven runs on nine hits, including a pair of homers, in just 4.2 innings of an 8-2 loss. Burns, a 30-year-old righthander, has made one relief appearance against the Dodgers in his career, allowing a solo homer in his one inning of work. The Brewers will need to score a lot of runs in this outing, and it still may not be enough to make them one of your baseball betting picks.

Clayton Kershaw (6-5, 3.27) vs Yovani Gallardo (8-6, 2.95)
Kershaw is starting to heat up before the break, winning his last three decisions while giving up only two runs in his last 17.0 innings. The 21-year-old southpaw is still leading the league in walks, but he walked only two batters in an 8-0 shutout of the Mets, while striking out seven. Kershaw earned a no-decision in his first start against the Brewers, which came last year, allowing a run on eight hits over six innings in a 7-5 win. Gallardo is third in the league in walks, but he’s also third in strikeouts, so it balances out. The 23-year-old righthander has lost four of his last six starts, but a lot of it comes down to run support (which is ironic, as Milwaukee slugger Ryan Braun called out the starting pitchers after the Chicago series). The Brewers have scored 18 runs for Gallardo over those six starts, and they’ve been shut out in the last two. The sportsbook should favor the Brewers at home, where Gallardo is only 4-4 despite a 2.89 ERA.
MLB betting pick: Brewers
