Tomlin has been more consistent in his delivery with an added confidence that has made the difference, and he will need to be at his best again when he starts opposite another hot pitcher in Daniel Hudson for the Diamondbacks on Monday. Hudson hasn’t lost since May 12th, and has allowed just five earned runs combined through his last three starts. Arizona’s offense has been able to get the job done so far this year and is near the top of the majors in runs scored, and when they get support like this from their pitching staff they are hard to beat at home.
