Kansas City hasn’t been able to hit the .500 mark at home or on the road, and will turn to another unproven youngster for the series opener on Thursday in 22-year old Danny Duffy. Duffy is 1-3 with a 5.09 ERA, and is coming off one of his worst outings of the year in which he allowed five earned runs in that many innings of work in a 9-0 loss to the Colorado Rockies.
