Florida State vs Wake Forest odds - FSU gaining serious momentum
- Seminoles, Demon Deacons try to keep pace in tough ACC
- Top-ranked Huskies limp into Seton Hall
- Bruins aim to bounce back against Wildcats
March Madess betting: It's getting more exciting for college hoops fans as the tourney draws near, and online sportsbook odds are offering a trio of exciting games this weekend in the NCAA. The only game between a pair of Top-25 teams comes from the ACC, where No. 7 Wake Forest will host one of the biggest surprises of the season, No. 25 Florida State. In the Big East, NCAA basketball odds will pit No. 1 Connecticut against Seton Hall as the Huskies try to deal with an injury to one of their most important players. Finally, No. 11 UCLA will try to recover from a big loss when they head to Arizona.
Florida State vs Wake Forest odds – Saturday, February 14, 4:00 p.m. ET
The Seminoles (19-5, 6-3) have rattled off three straight wins, including a strong road victory at Clemson last weekend. Toney Douglas is carrying the team on his back with 20.3 points per outing. Defensively, FSU is 10th in opposition field-goal percentage.
The Demon Deacons (18-4, 5-4) have dropped three of their last four, all on the road, so they’re happy to return home. These two have split their last 10 meetings, including a pair last season. The matchup between Douglas and Wake Forest counterpart Jeff Teague will be intriguing to watch, but FSU’s team defense will be the key. Bet on Florida State.
UCONN vs Seton Hall odds – Saturday, February 14, 12:00 p.m. ET
The Huskies (23-1, 11-1) won their 12th straight game with a victory over Syracuse last week, but it came at a price as guard Jerome Dyson, who is second on the team in scoring, could be out for the rest of the year with a knee injury. A.J. Price’s knee injury doomed the Huskies in the Tournament last year, but this year’s UConn team is more equipped to deal with such an injury.
The Pirates (14-9, 5-6) have bounced back nicely after dropping six straight, as they have now won five consecutive games, including back-to-back road games at Rutgers and DePaul. Still, the Huskies have taken nine of their last 10 meetings with the Pirates and, even without Dyson, UConn has more than enough firepower in this contest. Bet on Connecticut.
UCLA vs Arizona odds – Saturday, February 14, 1:00 p.m. ET
The Bruins (19-5, 8-3) lost to Arizona State on Thursday, meaning they were swept by a Pac-10 rival for the first time since Washington did it in the 2005-06 season. They are running into a hot Arizona team (17-8, 7-5), that has racked up six wins in a row with the high-scoring forward duo of Chase Budinger and Jordan Hill leading the way.
Arizona will also have the added motivation of ending its drought against UCLA, as the Bruins have won eight straight over the Wildcats. This will be a close game, but momentum is everything in college basketball, and the Wildcats are on fire. Bet on Arizona.
