Bobcats vs Suns Betting Odds – Phoenix will exact revenge for big loss
NBA Odds: Pick Michigan State |
Back on January 16, Stephen Jackson and Gerald Wallace each scored 29 points as Charlotte rolled over Phoenix in a 125-99 victory. That was in the midst of a record 9 straight home wins for the Bobcats. Problem is this game is on the road and with only three victories away from Time Warner Cable Arena this season, online betting cappers know that Charlotte will be in tough to get a win.

The Storyline - Bobcats vs Suns betting odds breakdown
After a dismal 4-9 December, Charlotte is on a roll in 2010 with an offence that is averaging over 100 points per contest, up from a season average of 94, during its past 10 games. The newfound offence will be put to the test against the Suns who can run with the best of them.
Offensive Matchups - Bobcats vs Suns betting odds breakdown
While the addition of Jackson has greatly improved the Bobcat offence and Wallace has found his scoring touch again, this offense is no match for the Suns. Averaging almost 110 points a game the high powered Suns offense will run by a tired Charlotte team. Having played in the thin air of Denver, on Monday, and not being used to the up-tempo pace of the suns game, Phoenix should pull away in the fourth quarter.

Defensive Matchups - Bobcats vs Suns betting odds breakdown
Charlotte has been impressive this season defensively, considering they have been without their starting Centre as Tyson Chandler has been out just over a month. They are currently the top team in points allowed, holding opponents to just 92 points. They will need every trick they know to hold the Suns run-and-gun offense below 100.
Phoenix has never been associated with having a strong defence in the past couple years and that trend is continuing. Holding the distinction of second worst defence, the Suns are allowing over 107 points per game. With a fast paced offence it allows for a lot of possessions which will boost the total points in their games. They just hope to outscore opponents every game.

Notable Injuries - Bobcats vs Suns betting odds breakdown
Suns guard Leandro Barbosa is out for the next month after having a cyst in his right wrist removed. The loss of Barbosa, who had started the previous three games before sitting out Saturday, will take 10 points out of the line-up and force Jason Richardson and second year Goran Dragic to eat up the extra minutes. Barbosa has only played 29 games this year so the Suns have gotten accustom to playing without him.
The Bobcats will again be without Center Tyson Chandler, who still has not practiced due to his left foot injury, even though he is off his crutches. Since Chandler has not played in a month, his absence is expected however Raymond Felton should be expected to see less minutes then normal as he is battling a right ankle sprain that he acquired on Friday in Atlanta. Against the Hawks he saw only 11 minutes and 30 on Saturday in an overtime loss to Orlando, down from the customary 33 he averages. He should play but his effectiveness, especially mobility against Steve Nash, is a concern.
