Bucks Magic Betting – Tuesday, 7:00 PM ET
The Magic should be favored by NBA betting odds at home against the Bucks, who are running out of time when it comes to making the playoffs. Milwaukee is three games behind eighth-place Indiana, and this will be a tough week as they head to Orlando, Miami and Detroit, but they’re facing a Magic team who has been struggling with three losses in their last four games, although all three of those losses came on the road. However, maybe a visit from Milwaukee will cure whatever is ailing the Magic as the Bucks are 0-10 SU and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 trips to Orlando. The Bucks have had no idea how to slow down Dwight Howard this season as “Superman” has averaged 29.5 points and 17.0 boards against them, outplaying Milwaukee counterpart Andrew Bogut. Unless Bogut can get the upper hand against Howard, it’s unlikely that the Bucks can pull out the upset, and we don’t think they can do it in Orlando.Betting Edge: Orlando Magic
Knicks 76ers Betting – Wednesday, 7:00PM ET
The 76ers should be the NBA betting favorites at home, and they’ve been pretty solid since the All-Star break, going 12-8 SU and 10-10 ATS, while the Knicks are 9-11 SU and ATS in their last 20 games. The Knicks are 2-3 SU and 4-1 ATS in their last five visits to the City of Brotherly Love, but this will be their first trip there with Carmelo Anthony. Another aspect of this game is that the Knicks are looking to overtake Philadelphia for sixth place in the East, as they were a game and a half behind the 76ers as of Monday, and both teams play on Tuesday night as New York will welcome Toronto to town, while the 76ers will be in Boston, which is why we have to give edge to the Knicks. Boston should give the 76ers a tough game at home, while the Knicks could blow the Raptors out and be able to rest their starters. The bench will be important in this game, but we’re also going with New York’s ability to give the ball to either Anthony or Amare Stoudemire to carry them. Philadelphia has been a good story, but we feel they’ve overachieved. Take New York on the road on Wednesday night.
Betting Edge: New York Knicks
Celtics Bulls Betting – Thursday, 8:00 PM ET
In what could be the game of the week in either conference, the Bulls should be the favorites at home against the Celtics, who are 1-4 SU and 2-2-1 ATS in their last five trips to the United Center. The Bulls have overtaken the Celtics in terms of favorites for the NBA title, but you can never count out the veterans from Boston, although some are worried now because Shaquille O’Neal is reportedly down with another leg injury. The Bulls have their own injury worries as Joakim Noah is out with an ailing ankle, but they’ve already shown that they can get by without him, thanks to Derrick Rose, who has averaged 29.4 points and 9.8 assists in his last five games ahead of Tuesday’s visit from Phoenix. This game is massive in terms of making a statement for the playoffs as the Bulls are out to show they are really the top dogs in the East, while the Celtics are trying to prove that they’re still going to be a force, and you should really check this game if you plan on playing the NBA playoffs in your sports betting book.
