NBA Picks – Friday April 2nd Rundown
Miami Heat @ Indiana Pacers
Online betting fans have seen both teams pick up the pace recently as the Heat have won six straight while the Pacer have won seven of 10. The Heat are actually a decent road team (19-8) and they’ll continue their hot spell at Conseco Fieldhouse.
Pick: HeatChicago Bulls @ Washington Wizards
The Chicago Bulls need to pick up the pace if they want to make the playoffs. They are just two games behind the Toronto Raptors for the eighth and final playoff spot and Friday night is a good opportunity for them to gain some ground.
Pick: BullsMilwaukee Bucks @ Charlotte Bobcats
If you like defense, make sure you catch this game. Under may be the best play in the sportsbook but don’t sleep on the Bucks, who are 23-8 since being seven games below .500 on January 26th. Look for the Bobcats to succeed though as the Bucks are playing their third game in four nights.
Pick: BobcatsHouston Rockets @ Boston Celtics
If any sports betting fan has seen or knows the whereabouts of those once-competitive Houston Rockets, please let us know. They have lost five of six and their lone win came against the lowly Washington Wizards. The Celtics are coming off a home loss and will bounce back fine on Friday.
Pick: CelticsAtlanta Hawks @ Cleveland Cavaliers
The Hawks are chalk-full of confidence right now after defeating the champion Los Angeles Lakers in their last outing. But this will be a different story. On the road in Cleveland, the Cavs will edge the Hawks out in a tight one.
Pick: CavaliersPhoenix Suns @ Detroit Pistons
Is anyone hotter than the Phoenix Suns in the NBA right now? They have won nine straight games and don’t look now, but they are your No. 4 seed in the Western Conference, just one game out of second place. They’ll stay hot against the porous Pistons – even at the Palace of Auburn Hills.
Pick: SunsNew Orleans Hornets @ Memphis Grizzlies
Both of these teams are absolutely lousy right about now. The Grizzlies are two games over .500 but have completely faded out of the playoff picture while the Hornets are a little bit better with Chris Paul back, but just 3-7 in their last 10. The Grizzlies get the slight edge since they are at home, where they are 22-16 and coming off a home loss.
Pick: GrizzliesOrlando Magic @ San Antonio Spurs
The Magic continue their Texas Two-Step and on most occasions, they would be fine but playing on back-to-back nights in Dallas, then San Antonio, is taxing on any team. The Magic don’t have much to play for as they are locked in the No. 2 seed in the East while the Spurs need wins to get out of eighth in the West.
Pick: SpursNew York Knicks @ Golden State Warriors
The Knicks and Warriors will be the highlight game of the night…not. Both teams have anonymous starting lineups nowadays but one thing is for certain, this will be a high-scoring affair. Give the edge to Golden State who is at home. For the Knicks, this will be their fourth road game in their five-game road trip.
Pick: WarriorsUtah Jazz @ Los Angeles Lakers
This will truly be the feature game for of the evening for NBA betting cappers and will be the late game of the ESPN double-header. The Jazz are hot but they simply still aren’t as good as the Los Angeles Lakers. This could be a preview of the Western Conference Finals and the Lakers won’t give the Jazz any inclinations that they can win it.
Pick: Lakers
