Online NBA Betting – Exciting Upcoming Action In The NBA
There are many NBA games to choose from over the course of a week. Here are five selections to consider for the next week of NBA play (Monday, March 21 through Friday, March 25).
NBA Betting Overview
Online betting gurus know that certain teams carry certain traits and should not be re-evaluated unless or until they’ve proven – repeatedly and straightforwardly, with no quirky qualifiers or aberrational circumstances – that they have changed their habits and have reformed their ways. Trusting certain teams to remain good (or bad) forms the basis for a great majority of NBA picks, especially as a long and grueling season enters its final month of competition. Look at the sports betting world presented by the NBA in the next to last week of March.
While most casual bettors focus on March Madness betting opportunities, there are several NBA games to mull over for the coming workweek. Two arrive fairly quickly on Monday, March 21. First of all, Sacramento goes to Chicago on Monday night. The Kings are one of several Western Conference clubs with no shot at a postseason berth. Coach Paul Westphal has been visibly frustrated with his team for most of the season. This is not a club with the balance or depth that can challenge the Bulls, who currently hold the top seed in the Eastern Conference. Chicago is naturally motivated to hold that number one slot, so don’t expect a letdown when Sacramento comes to town. The Bulls should whack the Kings without too much drama.
Also on Monday night, San Antonio – the leader in the Western Conference – hosts Golden State. The Warriors are a terrible defensive team and have been lacking at that end of the floor for what seems like ages. Golden State is exactly the kind of team that should not be expected to put up much of a fight on the road against the savvy Spurs. Take San Antonio in that contest.
As the week continues, there are other games to pluck from the long roster of NBA matchups. Washington at Portland on Tuesday the 22nd is one such matchup. The Blazers, despite all their injuries, continue to win games, while the Wizards remain one of the NBA’s most disappointing and dysfunctional franchises. Portland should definitely take that contest by the throat.
On Wednesday the 23rd, Miami goes to Detroit, where the Pistons have revolted against their coach and show no signs of being able to put up a fight against a Heat team that has been re-energized by its takedown of the Los Angeles Lakers on March 10. Miami is the clear pick in that contest.
Finally, on Thursday the 24th, Minnesota goes to Dallas. The Mavericks have been struggling to a considerable degree, but it’s hard to think that coach Rick Carlisle’s team could lose at home to the lowly Timberwolves. Dallas is fighting for playoff positioning, so a home game against Minnesota is something you’d expect the Mavs to take care of without a whole lot of drama.
Picks: Bulls over Kings and Spurs over Warriors (Monday), Trail Blazers over Wizards (Tuesday), Heat over Pistons (Wednesday), Mavs over Timberwolves (Thursday)
