Kentucky Tennessee Betting – Wildcats Aim To Finish Season On Winning Note
The No. 23 Kentucky Wildcats can no longer catch the No. 14 Florida Gators in the SEC East division, but that won’t make them any less determined to finish their season on a winning note. The Wildcats will travel to take on the Tennessee Volunteers this Sunday in their season finale, a matchup of SEC East rivals.

The Wildcats have won consecutive games over Florida and Vanderbilt to generate some excitement heading into the NCAA national title tournament, and will look to keep the momentum going when they tip off with a Volunteers’ team that has been very inconsistent all year.
College Basketball Betting Preview: Kentucky
The Wildcats made a statement with back-to-back wins over the Gators and Commodores, although some of the enthusiasm in the victory over Florida was lost in that the division had already been clinched. Nonetheless, Brandon Knight and company looked very good taking down Vanderbilt. The Freshman guard led the team with 17 points and three assists in the victory, while center Josh Harrellson gave the hometown fans one final performance to remember. The senior swatted away three balls while stealing three more in a dominant defensive performance, including harassing Vanderbilit’s Festus Ezeli in the final seconds to clinch the victory. Kentucky will be eager to bring that momentum with them into the Madness, but first they’ll have to keep it going against the Volunteers.
College Basketball Betting Preview: Tennessee
Tennessee did a lot of good things in their win over the South Carolina Gamecocks, capitalizing on an excellent night from the free throw line in a game decided by just two points. Tobias Harris was the difference maker for the Volunteers, scoring a career-high 25 points to help them beat the Gamecocks for the ninth straight time. Harris didn’t have to do it alone as Scotty Hopson added 24, including 16 in the opening half to really pace Tennessee. A similar effort will be needed on Sunday if the Volunteers are going to have any chance of closing out their season on a high note, with a packed crowd at the Thompson-Boiling Arena there to give them the sports betting bonus boost they’ll need.
College Basketball Betting: Outlook & Pick
There isn’t much left on the line for this game beyond pride, which is a change of pace on a weekend dominated by the final push for conference titles. The Wildcats do have more to lose in their top-25 ranking and in preparation for the national title tournament, as some still feel as though Kentucky could be a legitimate dark horse to at least reach the Final Four. Knight and Harrellson certainly give the Wildcats the inside, outside presence that every good college basketball betting team needs, and it will be interesting to see how they approach one final road game
