San Diego BYU Betting – Aztecs Travel To BYU For MWC Showdown Wednesday
The top two teams from the Mountain West Conference will clash on Wednesday when the fourth-ranked San Diego State Aztecs tip off with the ninth-ranked BYU Cougars at the Marriott Center. The Aztecs have swept through their first 20 games of the season as one of only two undefeated teams remaining, with the No. 1 Ohio State Buckeyes the other. San Diego State will have to overcome their biggest challenge of the year to stay undefeated however, as they take on a BYU team that is undefeated in five MWC games, and has just one loss this year.

- Online Sports Betting Odds: San Diego – 2.5
The Cougars bounced back from a loss to UCLA with nine straight wins, but none will be bigger than if they can knock off San Diego State. The Aztecs have faced just one ranked opponent this season, and it appears as though BYU is all that stands in their way of perfection.
College Basketball Betting Preview: San Diego State
That’s because the rest of the MWC has had trouble keeping pace, with no other team ranked in the top 25 and just one with a conference record that is above .500 with Colorado State at 3-2. Forward Kawhi Leonard has averaged 15.7 points per game and 10.3 rebounds to pace the Aztecs in both departments, and is second on the team in assists with an average of 2.6. The sophomore has been one of the best and most well rounded players in college basketball this season, and will continue to be relied on to lead the offense. Senior guard DJ Gay has averaged 12.8 points and 3.2 assists as the perfect compliment to Leonard, and if that tandem can establish a rhythm on the road then San Diego State will be hard to stop.
College Basketball Betting Preview: BYU
The Cougars will counter with their own star sports betting bonus tandem of senior forward Jimmer Fredette and senior guard Jackson Emery. Fredette leads BYU with averages of 26.7 points per game and 4.4 assists, and has easily been the best player in the conference so far this season. One of the nation’s leading scorers, Fredette would have a much tougher time if it weren’t for Emery’s presence both shooting and spreading the ball around on offense. This season, all the talk has been about the Aztecs’ perfect run. That should serve as extra motivation for Fredette and his teammates as they try to earn some respect.
College Basketball Betting: Outlook & Pick
The Mountain West has become a two-horse race that could very well be decided by two meetings between these programs. The Aztecs have been the more dominant team to this point in the season, but will be traveling to face a BYU team that is undefeated at home and represents the toughest competition they will have faced this season, as the Super Bowl betting approaches.
