NCAA Basketball Betting – Is North Carolina still the favorite in the ACC
- North Carolina vs Virginia odds: Tar Heels struggling in ACC
- Arizona State vs USC odds: Sun Devils face trap in Cali
- Arizona vs UCLA odds: Bruins rolling in 10 straight
Sportsbook fans have a few matchups to whet their appetites with before Saturday, as Thursday features a trio of games that have major conference significance and March Madness betting ramifications. In the ACC, No. 5 North Carolina will try to avoid an 0-3 start in conference play when it heads to Virginia. Sports wagering players can also focus on the Pac-10, when No. 16 Arizona State travels to USC, and No. 9 UCLA hosts Arizona.
North Carolina vs Virginia betting – Thursday at 9:00 p.m. ET
The Tar Heels (14-2) should be NCAA basketball betting favorites on the road despite losing two of their last three games, with both losses coming to conference opponents. The Cavaliers (7-6) have also dropped two of their last three, including a tight loss at rival Virginia Tech last weekend. North Carolina has won eight of its last 10 meetings with Virginia, and it edged the Cavaliers 75-74 in its last trip to John Paul Jones Arena. While going 0-2 is no time to panic, you’ll see the Tar Heels play with a massive sense of urgency in this contest, so bet online with North Carolina.
Arizona State vs USC betting – Thursday at 10:30 p.m. ET
The Sun Devils (14-2) will likely be underdogs on the Arizona State vs USC spread, as the Trojans (10-5) are 9-1 at the Galen Center this season. That one loss came in USC’s last game, when it fell 64-60 to UCLA last weekend. Arizona State recovered from a tough loss at California by beating Oregon and Oregon State by an average margin of 24.5 points.
The Sun Devils haven’t had much luck against the Trojans recently, dropping seven of their last 10 meetings with USC, including a 59-55 loss on the road last season. Arizona State has one of the nation’s best players in guard James Harden, and look for him to be the difference in what will be a close and exciting game. Bet online with Arizona State.
Arizona vs UCLA odds - Thursday at 11:00 p.m. ET
The Bruins (13-2) should be NCAA basketball betting favorites at home as they go for their tenth consecutive win, and they’re coming off a pair of tough road wins at Oregon and USC. The Wildcats (11-5) have been somewhat of a surprise as the program was expected to suffer while making the transition from longtime coach Lute Olsen to Russ Pennell, but they’re only a couple of one-point losses from being 13-3. The Bruins have won seven in a row over the Wildcats, and Arizona’s 0-4 record on the road leaves a lot to be desired for online betting players. Bet online with UCLA.
