Atlanta Falcons Odds - "Rebuilding" process nearly complete already

If you want a dramatic betting sports that he could be a feature NFL running back and flourished when he got his chance last season, finishing second in the league in rushing yards (1,699) and rushing touchdowns (17). He’s a young 27 years old, with just one season of starter carries under his belt, so he’s a safe sportsbook bet to repeat his production in 2009 NFL odds. If any team can bring down the bullish Turner, speedy Jerious Norwood remains a nice change-of-pace back with blinding speed.
While the Falcons’ defense wasn’t quite an Achilles’ Heel last season – the 11-fewest points allowed ain’t half bad – it ranked in the bottom third of the league in both rushing and passing yards allowed. Thankfully for Falcons odds supporters, management recognized the weakness and worked hard to address it at the draft, picking five straight defensive players. First-round pick Peria Jerry already tops the depth chart at defensive tackle and should help the run defense, while William Moore could step in and boost the secondary at strong safety immediately. The Falcons’ “D” still has some learning to do, but it should improve gradually.
Sportsbook players shouldn’t expect everything to come up roses for the Falcons’ offense again in 2009 NFL betting, but they have enough talent to overcome possible slumps. If they can stay healthy, they should push for around 10 wins – and a playoff berth – again.
