CFL betting — all teams in action as drive for the Grey Cup continues
Betting sports—Alouettes vs. Stampeders highlight big week
Winnipeg Blue Bombers (+3) at Toronto Argonauts (-3): Friday, September 12 at 7:00 p.m. ET
The Argonauts (4-6) were absolutely embarrassed last week, losing 45-19 to Montreal. The Blue Bombers (2-8), meanwhile, lost a 34-31 heartbreaker to Saskatchewan after allowing a last second drive that ended in the game-winning field goal.
Toronto will be looking for some serious revenge after the Montreal debacle, and this team is still playing much better than Winnipeg. The Argonauts are 7-3 against the spread in their last 10 games against the Bombers. Take: Argos football odds
Montreal Alouettes (+2.5) at Calgary Stampeders (-2.5): Friday, September 12 at 10:00 p.m. ET
Montreal (7-3) romped the Argos in every conceivable fashion last week, earning a 45-19 victory. Calgary (6-4) squeaked in a shootout win over the Eskimos, winning 38-33 on the road.
The Alouettes are starting to look like the class of the East, but Calgary will pose a challenge. In CFL betting trends, the Als have covered in six of their last 10 match-ups against the Stamps. Take: Alouettes odds
Hamilton Ti-Cats (+13) at Edmonton Eskimos (-13): Saturday, September 13 at 7:00 p.m. ET
The Ti-Cats (2-8) were destroyed at home last week, losing 35-12 to the average-at-best B.C. Lions. Edmonton (6-4) lost a heartbreaker, falling just short at home to Calgary 38-33.
The Eskimos are clearly the better team and don’t face a big chance of losing, but Hamilton owns CFL betting trends in this matchup, covering the spread in seven of its last eight meetings with Edmonton. Take: Ti-Cats odds
Saskatchewan Roughriders (+6) at B.C. Lions (-6): Saturday, September 13 at 10:00 p.m. ET
The Lions (5-5) picked up a blowout victory over the hapless Ti-Cats, running away with a 35-12 victory. Saskatchewan (8-2) came away with an improbable victory over Winnipeg, complete a long pass in the dying seconds to set up the winning field goal.
The Roughriders are on a roll this season and are shaping up to again be the West’s best team. They’ve also covered the spread in six of their last 10 match-ups with the Lions, including two in a row. Take: Roughriders odds
