Texas A&M Alabama Betting Predictions – Tide Look To Roll Over Final Ranked Opponent Left On Schedule
The top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide took care of business with a 21-17 win over the LSU Tigers in a BCS Championship game rematch last week at Baton Rouge. Avoiding an emotional letdown and continuing to dominate at home will be the task this week when they host the No. 16 Texas A&M Aggies. The Tide followed up junior quarterback AJ McCarron’s promise that they would not lose to LSU this season the way they did a year ago when they narrowly missed out at a shot at redemption in the national title game, but will now shift their focus to taking care of business against the lone ranked opponent left on their online betting schedule.

College Football Betting Line: Alabama – 16
The Aggies scored a second-consecutive double-digit win last week to improve to 7-2 overall, and any slim chance they have of catching top spot in the SEC West will require a win this week. That isn’t likely to happen even with freshman quarterback Johnny Manziel leading the way, as he has never seen a defense as good as this Alabama unit.
College Football Betting Preview: Texas A&M
Manziel has become somewhat of a legend in the Aggies’ first season in the SEC, exploding for 16 passing touchdowns and 15 more on the ground. Texas A&M is very confident with their young leader under center, and have all but forgotten about their 24-19 loss to LSU earlier this season. Manziel threw for 311 yards and rushed for 129 more with two scores in last week’s win at Mississippi State, picking apart another tough defense. However, the Tide defense represents an entirely different class, and is eager to put a stop to the success that the Aggies have experienced on the road this season.
College Football Betting Preview: Alabama
McCarron threw for 165 yards and a touchdown in the win over the Tigers, laying down a clear road for Alabama to get to the national title game. The Tide hadn’t trailed in a game all season before allowing LSU a pair of leads last week, but battled back both times to answer with touchdowns. Alabama averaged 6.6 yards per rush on the ground, including 116 of their 166 yards after contact. The ability to pound the rock inside this week and then rely on the top-ranked defense in the nation will once again be an asset for head coach Nick Saban, and with no other ranked teams left on the schedule, there is no way this team will be caught looking ahead.
College Football Betting Preview: Outlook & Pick
There is no head coach in college football that is better at preparing his team for a game than Saban, and with so much talent at his disposal again this year it is scary to think about what Alabama has the potential to do. Texas A&M has enjoyed a successful debut season in the SEC thanks in big part to Manziel, but even he has never seen a defense as good as what the Tide will bring at home this week in their final online sportsbook game against a ranked opponent.
