UCLA vs USC Betting Odds - Refreshed Trojans to roll UCLA
The UCLA vs USC betting odds could be the start of a great rivalry – or continuation of one – as both teams have good freshman quarterbacks. While USC’s Matt Barkley is the stud, he’s been outplayed in recent weeks by UCLA’s fresh prince, Kevin Prince. But the Trojans are off a much-needed bye week and, after getting trounced at home two weeks ago, online betting cappers will see them do the trouncing this week.

UCLA vs USC betting odds maker breakdown: What’s On The Line
UCLA (6-5, 3-5) has been a bit of a disappointment in the Pac 10 this year, as they’ve only been able to defeat weak teams. Their wins have come against teams like Kansas State, Tennessee, Washington, Washington State and Arizona State, while their losses have come to Stanford, Oregon, California, Arizona and Oregon State. The Bruins could use a signature win for the year but they will be in tough this week.
For the Trojans (7-3, 4-3), there’s no BCS this year but they could get up higher in the Pac 10 with a win. Don’t forget, they still have a winnable game against Arizona next week. For USC, this is still about building towards next year.

UCLA vs USC betting odds maker breakdown: Offense
The Bruins offense has been stuck in neutral throughout most of the year, but as Prince has improved over the last month, so has the attack. Prince has thrown for 1,010 for four touchdowns and one interception - but that’s been against Arizona State, Washington State, Washington and Oregon State. USC will be a much stiffer challenge for him. This offense averages just 22.6 points per game, which is 90th in the country.
For USC, sportsbook odds makers are expecting to see a refreshed lineup – particularly Matt Barkley. The Trojans haven’t surpassed 21 points in their past three games, but Barkley is holding them back a bit. He’s just 33 of 69 with five interceptions in his last 10 quarters. He’ll be much sharper after a bye week, and so should his backfield mate Joe McKnight. That will be all the Trojans need.

UCLA vs USC betting odds maker breakdown: Defense
USCL’s defense has been steady all year, and while they do have playmakers at each level, they don’t have the consistency. In their tough five-game losing streak, the Bruins allowed nearly 30 points per game. They will have to come up with a valiant effort to keep the Trojans to less than three touchdowns in this contest.
For USC, their defense is coming off a beatdown at the hands of Stanford, but luckily the Bruins have nothing close to Toby Gerhart. They should be able to stop the run in this contest rather easily, which may be enough to force some Prince turnovers. The Bruins don’t have a very good offensive line or running game, which is why it’ll be tough for them to win on the road.

UCLA vs USC betting odds maker breakdown: Notable Injuries
The Trojans may be without their best receiver, Damian Williams, who is still dealing with a sprained ankle. He is doubtful to play. Also, starting linebacker Michael Morgan will be limited with a couple of nagging injuries, but he should play.
For UCLA, cornerback Aaron Hester, who has been out most of the year, probably won’t factor much in this game.

UCLA vs USC betting odds breakdown: Outlook and Pick
NCAA football betting fans know that USC doesn’t often lose at home, and when they do, for some reason it happens when Stanford is visiting. Even though there aren’t BCS implications on the line for USC, don’t expect them to stumble in back-to-back games at home. After a bye week, they’ll be fresh and they’ll cover against UCLA.
