Bills Broncos Betting – Bills, Broncos Continue To Move In Right Direction
When the Buffalo Bills make the trip to Mile High Stadium to face the Denver Broncos in week two of the preseason, it will be a showdown of two of the weaker teams in the AFC in the middle of rebuilding years. Just don’t tell either one of them. Management and players for both teams have made it clear that they feel they are ready to contend for the postseason this year, and while it may be a stretch for either to get in, both have shown signs that they could be headed in the right sports betting direction.

It might come as a surprise that the league’s best pass-rush in week one of the preseason was none other than the Bills, but the team certainly expected nothing less after going out and adding veteran Shawne Merriman. Merriman finished the game with two sacks and was in on a couple of more, as Buffalo continues to work on wreaking havoc up front.
NFL Betting Preview: Buffalo Bills
The Bills feel that with Merriman, Kyle Williams, and a new-look defense that they could rank among the surprise teams of 2011-12. The team undoubtedly has talent on both sides of the ball, but the biggest concern right now has to be an offense that lacks firepower. Ryan Fitzpatrick looked good completing 7-of-9 passes for 44 yards in the 10-3 loss to the Chicago Bears, but once again the team really didn’t have a playmaker emerge on offense to make the difference. Buffalo is hoping that second-year running back CJ Spiller could emerge along with wide receiver Steve Johnson, and that could happen in the next couple of games.
NFL Betting Preview: Denver Broncos
One of the biggest stories this preseason has been the quarterback battle between Kyle Orton and Tim Tebow, and the truth is that both looked good in a 24-23 loss to the Dallas Cowboys in week one of the preseason. Orton continues to be the more conventional quarterback while Tebow uses his athleticism and size to make things happen, and while the former already appears to be the clear-cut starter, the young Tebow will not go down without a fight. The Broncos do have some weapons on the offensive side of the ball to make things happen, but the problem continues to be a limited defense that doesn’t seem to scare anyone.
NFL Betting Preview: Outlook & Pick
The Bills will look to generate a solid pass rush once again, but it could be a little harder when they are not playing against the Bears’ offensive line. Buffalo has made good progress on both sides of the ball since training camp opened, and should be able to keep this one close but it wouldn’t be a stretch to think that Tebow takes over this game once his number is called and makes the best sports betting bonus case yet for himself as a starter.
