Bills Patriots Betting – Bills Continue To Struggle As Pats Roll To Big Victory
The sports betting chances for New England may have taken a small hit with their loss to a divisional rival last week, but players shouldn’t panic yet. The Patriots will host another rival when Buffalo comes to town this week, and a visit from the slumping Bills is exactly what the doctor ordered for the Patriots.

What’s On The Line
The Bills (0-2) were pummeled 34-7 in Green Bay, falling apart in the second half of the game due to a stalled offense, and it went downhill from there. The Patriots (1-1) came up short in their AFC East showdown with the New York Jets, falling 28-14 on the road in a very uneven performance, especially from the offense. The Patriots will be a bit ticked off in this game, and they’ve won nine straight at home over the Bills.
Offensive Matchups: Bills Patriots Betting
Trent Edwards was just 11-of-18 for 102 yards and two picks as he was chased all over Lambeau Field by Clay Matthews, who had three of the four Green Bay sacks. The offensive line is terrible, and they’re going to have to find a way to keep the defense off of Edwards, who can be decently accurate when he has time. The Bills also may need to start using rookie C.J. Spiller more: coach Chan Gailey is obviously trying to ease him into the league, but Spiller is the best offensive weapon they have.
The Patriots managed to score in only the second quarter, and they were atrocious in the second half. In fact, if it wasn’t for Randy Moss’ insane one-handed touchdown catch (over Darrelle Revis, no less), this game may have been a total write-off for New England. Tom Brady was 20-of-36 for 248 yards, two touchdowns and two picks, and if you would have heard that Mark Sanchez was going to outplay Brady, you would have thought you were going crazy, but it happened. Look for them to bounce back in this game.

Defensive Matchups: Bills Patriots Betting
The Bills are 21st in the league defensively, and they have a pretty good unit, but they’re often put in terrible situations because of the offense. They actually kept the high-powered Packers in check, allowing 346 yards, and that’s good at Lambeau. They’re also still missing Paul Posluszny, who is out with a knee injury, but they’ll need the secondary to step up in this game as the Patriots don’t run a lot.
New England is 26th in the league defensively so far, coming in 28th against the pass, and that’s going to have to come down if the Patriots want to improve their NFL betting odds. Young corners Devin McCourty and Darius Butler were in trouble against the Jets and even though the Bills have a struggling offense, Lee Evans and Roscoe Parrish are capable receivers who can break out from time to time.

Notable Injuries: Bills Patriots Betting
Poslusnzy (knee) doesn’t look like he’s going to be back for this game, either, although you have to pay attention to the injury reports in a couple of days.
The Patriots don’t appear to have any major injuries heading into this contest, which doesn’t bode well for the Bills’ NFL betting odds.

Outlook and Pick: Bills Patriots Betting
The Patriots will definitely be big NFL betting favorites in this contest as they have won nine in a row at home over the Bills, and 13 straight overall. This is probably the best game for the Patriots to go into as they were beaten all over the field by the Jets, and the Bills will fight hard, but they don’t have the talent to hang, especially in New England. Edwards will struggle, while Brady and the Patriots will wear down the Bills, much like Green Bay did. Take the Patriots to cover in your online betting picks.
