Broncos Raiders Betting – Tebow, Broncos In Trouble Against Palmer, Raiders This Sunday
Disappearing almost as quickly as it first appeared in the final minutes of a win over the Miami Dolphins, Tebow-mania was left for dead in the Denver cold last Sunday. Denver Broncos’ quarterback Tim Tebow threw for just 172 yards with one touchdown and one interception, and fumbled three times while taking seven sacks. Despite his struggles, Tebow is expected to be under center once again this Sunday as the Broncos travel to take on the division rival Oakland Raiders, whose quarterback struggles cost them in their most recent sports bet loss.

Bet Football Online Spread: Oakland Raiders – 8
Carson Palmer’s debut in Oakland could not have gone much worse after he threw three interceptions with a quarterback rating of 17.3 in just one half of action in a 28-0 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. The Raiders turned to their newest acquisition after Kyle Boller had thrown three interceptions in the first half, and after the extra week of preparation that came with their bye head coach Hue Jackson is hoping for a better performance from that position.
Broncos Raiders Betting Preview: Denver Broncos
There was no doubt that the excitement and drama of the Broncos’ 18-15 overtime win against the Dolphins was something that the team could build on, but in light of their blowout loss against the Lions, perhaps not enough was made about the way that the team performed in trailing 15-0 to begin the game. Tebow and the offense certainly didn’t show any of the same heroics that were on display at the end of the Miami win against a suspect Detroit defense, and they now face back-to-back road games against division rivals, with four of their next five away from home. While the offense was horrible, the Broncos’ defense wasn’t much better allowing 376 total yards from scrimmage including a couple of big plays that really hurt them.
Broncos Raiders Betting Preview: Oakland Raiders
While their performance against the Chiefs was downright brutal, Boller is not a starting NFL quarterback and Palmer had not practiced while holding out against the Cincinnati Bengals, so there is huge room for improvement following an extra week of preparation after a bye. The Raiders likely wouldn’t have thrown as much as they did with Palmer had Boller not put them in such a big hole early on, so look for running backs Darren McFadden and Michael Bush to get a ton of touches for the league’s second-ranked rushing attack. The Raiders’ defense has allowed at least 17 points in every game so far this season, and need to end that streak against Tebow and the Broncos.
Broncos Raiders Betting Preview: Outlook & Pick
A strong rushing attack and stingier defense should be a recipe for success as the Raiders look to get back on track against Denver. Palmer will also be better prepared this week, and won’t be burdened by the pressure of an early sports betting deficit as Oakland looks to put another dagger in Tebow-mania.
