Buccaneers 49ers Betting – Buccaneers, 49ers Clash Coming Off Big Wins
There is no such thing as an easy win in the NFL, and the difference between a contender and a pretender often comes down to a team’s ability to win the games that they are projected to. Despite a tough fight, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were able to do just that with a close win over the Indianapolis Colts on Monday Night Football, in which Josh Freeman and company were able to thrive under the pressure of expectations. Things will get even tougher on short rest this week as the Buccaneers travel to the west coast to play an upstart San Francisco 49ers’ team that is full of confidence after shocking the sports betting experts with a huge comeback win over the Philadelphia Eagles last week.

NFL Betting Lines: San Francisco 49ers – 2 1/2
San Francisco trailed in that game by 17 at halftime, but managed to claw their way back with Alex Smith throwing a pair of touchdowns in the third quarter before running back Frank Gore punched in the winning score from 12 yards out in the fourth. That second half is exactly what head coach Jon Harbaugh expects of his team every week, and it will be interesting to see if the 49ers can carry over that momentum.
NFL Betting Preview: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
A national audience finally got to see what all the talk has been about with Tampa Bay, as Freeman and company were able to get a big win on Monday Night Football. The Buccaneers rushed the ball for 192 yards against the Colts, with running back LaGarrette Blount registering 127 yards, including a 35-yard touchdown run that proved to be the winning score. For as impressive as they were on offense, the Tampa Bay defensive line absolutely blew up a Colts’ offensive line that had been struggling with injuries. Gerald McCoy and Adrian Clayborn are among a new class of rising stars on the defensive side of the ball, and they proved to be one of the biggest differences in the win.
NFL Betting Preview: San Francisco 49ers
Even though they allowed Michael Vick to throw for 417 passing yards, the 49ers found a way to rally together and clinch a huge win on the road to improve to 2-0 as the visitors. With the exception of a tough overtime loss to the Dallas Cowboys in which a battered Tony Romo basically willed his team to victory, San Francisco has gone undefeated and will need to find confidence in their success. The 49ers will be tested with consecutive games against legitimate playoff contenders in Tampa Bay and the Detroit Lions before their bye week, but if they play like they did last week in the second half they should have a sports betting bonus shot against anyone that they play.
NFL Betting Preview: Outlook & Pick
For as good as the 49ers were in their comeback win over the Eagles, Tampa Bay has looked pretty good too, and it might not make sense to go against them by more than a field goal this early. San Francisco should be able to keep this one close, but in the end it will be the Buccaneers that come out on top with a tough win on the road.
