Buccaneers Titans Betting – Titans Look To Run Buccaneers’ Losing Streak To Five
It wasn’t that long ago that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were considered strong contenders in the seemingly crowed NFC South, looking to follow up a 10-win season by fighting to get in to the postseason. However, on the heels of four straight losses the Buccaneers will travel to Nashville with nothing more on their minds than simply ending their skid against a Tennessee Titans’ team that is still in the sports betting hunt in the AFC South.

NFL Betting Lines: Tennessee Titans – 3.5
The Titans followed up a string of three straight wins with four losses in six games, another AFC team that has been marred by inconsistency this season. This game will mark Tennessee’s only home game in almost a month of football, and they will need to capitalize on the opportunity to keep their playoff hopes alive.
Buccaneers Titans Betting Preview: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The bye week could not have come at a worse time for the Buccaneers, which have lost three straight since and four overall to fall two games below .500. Part of the problem has been the offense’s inability to put up big numbers, but the onus falls on a defense that has allowed at least 24 in four losses after allowing opponents to hit that mark just twice through their first six games. Injuries have caused problems along the defensive line to the point that head coach Raheem Morris was desperate enough to bring in Albert Haynewsorth, but that could end up doing more damage than help for a young and impressionable Tampa Bay team.
Buccaneers Titans Betting Preview: Tennessee Titans
The Titans have managed to stay in the hunt in the AFC South partly because of a relatively weak schedule, and partly because of their ability to get the job done in games that they are expected to win. Perhaps the biggest surprise in Tennessee is the fact that they have gotten the job done without Chris Johnson performing at an elite level, as the offense ranks last in the NFL with an average of just 77.3 rushing yards per game. Rookie Jake Locker stepped in for Matt Hasselbeck and played well with 140 yards and two touchdowns, and should have the chance to perform at a high level against a weak Tampa Bay defense. The Titans’ defense has held opponents to 14 points or less in each of their five games, so that will be the magic online wagering number.
Buccaneers Titans Betting Preview: Outlook & Pick
While a young Buccaneers’ team is all but eliminated in the NFC South, the Titans still have a chance to make the playoffs in a division where Matt Schaub of the Houston Texans could miss the rest of the regular season. Tennessee has everything to play for and should come up big in a crucial situation.
