Cardinals vs Rams Betting Odds - Cards will use passing game to pad lead in NFC West
Arizona is a nine-point favorite on Cardinals vs Rams betting odds but the Cards have been known to lay and egg now and then. Still, quarterback Kurt Warner has enjoyed a brilliant two-week stretch and, even though running back Steven Jackson is hot right now, sports betting fans can't expect St. Louis to keep up.

Cardinals vs Rams betting odds maker breakdown: The Storyline
Arizona's lead in the NFC West is growing, and a win over the Rams would make it fairly comfortable. The Cardinals have won five of their last six games, including last week's 31-20 victory over the Seattle Seahawks.
St. Louis hasn't been on any kind of roll this season, though it did give New Orleans a tough go in last week's 28-23 loss. There isn't much to look forward to in St. Louis, save for building for next year.
Cardinals vs Rams betting odds maker breakdown: Offense
The Rams' offense is Steven Jackson. Period. After a few underwhelming, injury-filled seasons, the running back is reminding everyone he's still one of the best. Jackson has rolled up over 130 yards in three straight games and shows no signs of slowing down. Considering the lack of threats in the passing game, he'll keep getting the ball.
Arizona, meanwhile, takes to the air to get the job done. Kurt Warner has rebounded nicely from his five-interception game a few weeks ago, tossing seven touchdowns and zero interceptions over the last two games. He'll benefit from a healthy Anquan Boldin; Boldin, who was suffering through an ankle injury, looks good and posted his first 100-yard game of the season last week.

Cardinals vs Rams betting odds maker breakdown: Defense
The Arizona "D" has been solid this season. It's not going to strike fear into opponents, but there's enough here to give the offense a chance to outgun everyone else. The Cardinals have actually been quite stout against the run, ranking seventh at 101 rushing yards allowed per game, so they have a shot to at least slow Jackson.
The Rams have been run on all year, though they'll likely forgo the runin ggame to throw against the NFL's 26th-ranked pass defense. The Rams are giving up over 27 points per game this season, so Warner and the Cards should have a field day.

Cardinals vs Rams betting odds maker breakdown: Notable Injuries
The Rams lost linebacker C.J. Ah You, who has played well this season, to a season-ending knee injury. Cardinals linebacker Gerald Hayes is dealing with a sore back; he'll be needed at 100 per cent to help deal with Jackson.
Betting Edge: Even
Cardinals vs Rams betting odds for total: 48
Arizona's run "D" has been very good, but Jackson is going to get his yards. The Cardinals will run up the points early and often and their receivers will be especially dangerous on turf. Take the over at the sportsbook.
Pick: OVER 48
Cardinals vs Rams betting breakdown: Outlook and Pick
St. Louis played a decent, scrappy game against New Orleans last week but it was largely based on the Saints' poor run defense, something Arizona doesn't have to worry about. With Warner on fire, not to mention his receivers getting healthy, the Rams secondary doesn't have a chance. Bet on Arizona.
