Heading into the sixth week of the betting on NFL season, both the San Diego Chargers and St. Louis Rams are reeling following big losses, each of different varieties. The Chargers couldn’t solve the AFC West division-rival Oakland Raiders in a 35-27 loss, the latter’s second victory of the season. The Rams have shown immaculate progress over the past couple of weeks, no doubt in big part due to first overall college football betting draft pick Sam Bradford leading the offense. St. Louis put together solid wins over the Washington Redskins and Seattle Seahawks in consecutive weeks before falling to the Lions, and should bounce back with a much better showing back in front of their home crowd. Running back Stephen Jackson will be relied on heavily to open things up even more for Bradford, while the defense will need to rise to the occasion against a talented Chargers’ offense.
