Chiefs Packers Betting – Chiefs Travel To Take On Defending Super Bowl Champions In Preseason Finale
The Super Bowl champions will complete their preseason preparations at home this week with a visit from a team with major championship aspirations, and major championship question marks as well. The Kansas City Chiefs have some of the tools needed to win it all this season, but heading into their exhibition finale against the Green Bay Packers there are still some questions that need to be answered.

Despite some signs of life, Chiefs’ quarterback Matt Cassel has looked like a quarterback that is very uncomfortable in the pocket since Kansas City lost to the Baltimore Ravens in last year’s playoffs. Cassel is one of several key players with a questionable status, as the Chiefs look to figure out whether their core is strong enough to make a legitimate sports betting run.
NFL Betting Preview: Kansas City Chiefs
There has been a lot of talk over the past couple of weeks about the legitimacy of the star players in Kansas City, mainly due to the fact that the team that clinched the AFC West a year ago may not even be favored to clinch a Wild Card spot despite actually improving on paper. The Chiefs do have a ton of talent in Cassel, Dwayne Bowe, and a rising offensive line, but the question here is whether or not that talent is great or just above average. Running back Jamaal Charles absolutely tore it up last season and that made everyone look better, and whether or not he can sustain that role going forward will be the biggest key to the season in Kansas City.
NFL Betting Preview: Green Bay Packers
The Packers don’t need to be analyzed over again to know where they stand after clinching a Super Bowl just a year ago, as they return virtually every key player from that team with a new draft class to bolster their depth. The Green Bay defensive line hasn’t missed a beat this preseason without Cullen Jenkins, and as long as they can continue to get pressure up front their loaded secondary should thrive. Aaron Rodgers has continued to emerge as one of the dominant quarterback’s in the game today, and he has all of the weapons around him to continue to perform at that elite sports betting bonus level.
NFL Betting Preview: Outlook & Pick
The Packers would love to have a little momentum on their side as they prepare for the New Orleans Saints in their home opener the following Thursday, and although their starters likely won’t see the field much as they look ahead to the following week, they should have enough depth to get by a Kansas City team that can’t wait for this preseason to be over. No team wants to go winless in exhibition play, but the Chiefs would have to keep their starters in too long to win and head coach Todd Haley won’t risk that.
