Colts Buccaneers Betting – Buccaneers Look To Take Advantage Of Painters, Colts On MNF
The Tampa Bay area was nearly rioting after their beloved Rays pulled off one of the most improbable comebacks in the history of the sports betting game on Wednesday to edge out the Boston Red Sox for the American League Wild Card spot. For the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, getting a win over the Indianapolis Colts on Monday Night Football but not be on the same scale, but it can definitely keep them on the right path as they look to remain on track for a playoff return in a tough NFC South division.

NFL Betting Lines: Tampa Bay Buccaneers - 10
The Buccaneers have won consecutive games over the Minnesota Vikings and Atlanta Falcons to put their selves in position to move to 3-1 with a win on Monday, and they received some more good news with the Colts expected to give Curtis Painter his first career NFL start as Kerry Collins continues to be held back with concussion-like symptoms.
NFL Betting Preview: Indianapolis Colts
Painter has never started an NFL regular season game, and after he completed just five of his 11 passes for 60 yards with a sack and lost fumble, he doesn’t inspire much confidence. Painter did however lead Indianapolis on its only touchdown drive of the season against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night, and its hard to imagine that they could do any worse with him than Collins after falling to 0-3. The defense worked hard against Pittsburgh to hold them to a game-winning field goal in the dying seconds, and if it wasn’t for that Painter fumble that caused a Steelers’ defensive touchdown the Colts could have had a chance. Indianapolis will need more from its running game, and can obviously stand for Painter to show some poise.
NFL Betting Preview: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The path has been laid down and cleared for the Buccaneers to earn their third win of the season, and it will come down to execution. Tampa Bay will have its hands full with the Colts’ defensive line, and it will be about getting rid of the ball on cue for quarterback Josh Freeman, and not trying to do too much overall as an offense and risk turnovers. The Buccaneers will pound the rock to wear Indianapolis down, and as long as they are able to put up some points without turning it over the defense should be able to hold the Colts for the victory. It is on running back LaGarrette Blount to have a breakout performance this sports betting bonus week on Monday Night Football.
NFL Betting Preview: Outlook & Pick
The Colts gave everything they had in their loss to the Steelers, and the truth is that without Peyton Manning in the lineup they just can’t seem to catch a break. Painter has limited experience and will be in trouble against a tough Tampa Bay defense, while Indianapolis will have their hands full trying to slow down Freeman and Blount.
