Cowboys vs Eagles Betting - Big-play Eagles will top Dallas in high-scoring affair
Cowboys vs Eagles betting is the cream of the crop in the NFL this week. Both teams are coming off wins, and both teams dislike each other very much. There's a lot of star power in this one, particularly on offense, so expect Cowboys-Eagles to be a wild, high-scoring affair.

Cowboys vs Eagles betting odds maker breakdown: The Storyline
Having won three straight games, the early season turmoil in Dallas is suddenly in the rearview mirror. The Cowboys whipped Seattle 38-17 in Week 8 and the offense has dropped 33.6 points per game during the current winning streak. The Eagles won for the second straight week after completely dismantling the Giants in a 40-17 home victory; the big plays on offense just keep piling up. Now, with both teams 5-2, first place in the NFC East is up for grabs.
Cowboys vs Eagles betting odds maker breakdown: Offense
Tony Romo is putting it together. He's thrown for 918 yards, eight touchdowns and zero interceptions in his last three starts, all wins. Romo should keep getting better, too; November has always been the best month of his career (36 touchdowns, 3618 yards, nine picks in 13 games). Dallas is sixth in the NFL with 147 rushing yards per game, but right now it's all about Romo. The Eagles can throw the ball too. Donovan McNabb has nine touchdown passes and just one interception in four starts this year. His receiving corps might be the most explosive in the NFL, led by DeSean Jackson, who has six total touchdowns this season. Brian Westbrook is tentatively expected to play this week (concussion), but back-up LeSean McCoy was great against New York last week (11 carries, 82 yards, touchdown). Betting Edge: Even
Cowboys vs Eagles betting odds maker breakdown: Defense
Dallas and Philadelphia make their bread and butter on offense, but the defenses can hold their own. Both are allowing about 19 points per game, although Dallas is giving up nearly 50 extra yards per outing. The Cowboys pass "D" had been a concern but, with the pass rush getting its mojo back—DeMarcus Ware has five sacks in his last two games—it's not so much an issue now. The Eagles, on the other hand, haven't allowed more than 17 points since Week 2 against the Saints. Betting fans should give Philly the edge on "D." Betting Edge: Eagles
Cowboys vs Eagles betting odds maker breakdown: Notable Injuries
Westbrook is recovering from a concussion and, while McCoy filled in admirably last week, getting Westbrook back would be a huge boost for Philly. Now that the backfield is getting healthier, Dallas is through most of its injury issues. Betting Edge: Even
Cowboys vs Eagles betting odds for total: 47.5
Either team is loaded with playmakers who can score from anywhere at any time. This game is going to be explosive with Romo and McNabb leading the way; take the over on NFL Week 9 odds. Pick: OVER 47.5
Cowboys vs Eagles betting breakdown: Outlook and Pick
Dallas and Philly have been on fire lately, but a few of their wins came over weaker competition. This will be a real test for both teams but, after how the Eagles handled the Giants last week, it's tough to argue against what they're doing—especially when playing at home in Week 9. Despite a mean pass rush, McNabb and Jackson should take advantage of Dallas' mediocre secondary and make a few big plays, while the Eagles "D" will get one or two extra stops. DJ's PICK: Eagles -3
