Dolphins Bengals Betting – The Miami Wildcat is Getting on Track
The betting world is starting to give up on the Cincinnati Bengals. After the first seven weeks of NFL scores have come in, the Bengals are sitting with a 2-4 record. A team with character is great, a team full of characters always has a tough time winning. The Bengals are the polar opposite of the Miami Dolphins, who play a steady offensive game and were robbed of a win in week seven against the Pittsburgh Steelers by the referees late in the game.

- Where: Paul Brown Stadium, Cincinnati, OH
- Pick: Miami Dolphins +2
What’s On The Line
The Miami Dolphins (3-3) need this game. They are looking at the New England Patriots (5-1) and the New York Jets (5-1) in the AFC East standings above them and are starting to realize that a wild card is their only playoff hope. However, even that is risky thinking. If the season were to end today, the Dolphins would be in ninth place in the AFC and out of the playoffs.
The Bengals called themselves Super Bowl contenders before the season started and, while they were not the only team making those kinds of NFL football betting predictions, they are the team least likely to see it come true. The Bengals have too many personnel distractions to stay focused like a playoff team needs to be.
Offensive Matchups: Dolphins Bengals Betting
In their 23-22 week seven loss to the Steelers, the Dolphins showed that they have almost perfected the wildcat as an offensive formation. Quarterback Chad Henne had 257 yards in the air and threw one touchdown. The wildcat did not generate 100 yards on the ground, but it did push the Steelers back enough to give Miami a chance to win.
The Bengals have the eighth ranked offense in the league. Their running back Cedric Benson already has 476 yards on the ground this season and two touchdowns. The Bengals offense is not a juggernaut, but with T.O. and Ochocinco as targets, the Cincinnati offense certainly has the tools to be dangerous.
