After years of dominating the AFC South division, the Indianapolis Colts looked vulnerable in their season opening loss to the Houston Texans at Reliant Stadium, falling behind early en route to a 34-24 loss. The defense tightened up after, looking a little too loose in the first half, but will face a much tougher task against the Colts.
How The Game Will Play Out
Unlike the Panthers, the Colts will go to the air early and often when they get to New York, and it will be interesting to see how the Giants’ betting on NFL defense reacts. The same goes the other way, as Indianapolis will have to tighten up big time against the run after allowing the Texans to run them into the ground. The Giants are at home, but the Colts have the better Manning, and Indianapolis won’t start 0-2.
