Jets Raiders Betting – Jets Need To Play With Urgency Against Reeling Raiders
After escaping a week one sports betting meeting against the Dallas Cowboys following a gift-wrapped fourth-quarter interception from Tony Romo, the New York Jets made sure that they didn’t test their fortunes again in week two with a 32-3 blowout win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. For the Oakland Raiders, they learned the hard way that a game is not over until the final whistle regardless of the score in a 38-35 loss to the Buffalo Bills, and return home looking to bounce back against their second AFC East opponent in as many weeks.

They say that in order to be lucky you have to be good, and after consecutive wins to open the season it appears as though Rex Ryan’s Jets are a little bit of both. New York will need to consistently perform at a high level in a division that features two other 2-0 teams, as they fight with the New England Patriots and surprising Bills in the AFC East.
NFL Betting Preview: New York Jets
Just when it seemed that they could falter, the Jets came up big. After cornerback Darrelle Revis came up big with that game-saving interception against the Cowboys in week one, Ryan wasn’t willing to play another close game and New York went to the air to put away the Jaguars early. Quarterback Mark Sanchez threw for 182 yards and two touchdowns, as the Jets opened up a 29-3 lead before the final frame, but he still has some work to do as evidenced by his two interceptions. The Jets want to become a more dangerous offense and in order to do that they need Sanchez to take another step forward. New York’s defense looked stellar against Jacksonville, holding them to just 91 passing yards, but they will need to tighten up against the run.
NFL Betting Preview: Oakland Raiders
The Raiders suffered a week two letdown unlike any other in NFL history, allowing the Bills to score a touchdown on all five of their second-half possessions to concede a 38-35 loss in a game that they seemed to have clinched by the end of the first half. How the team reacts to that loss will be one of the early keys to their season, and that means the team leaders such as Jason Campbell and Richard Seymour will need to step up. Oakland couldn’t stop the Bills’ offense in the second half, so expect New York to try to emulate their attack as much as possible. It is no secret that the Raiders can run the ball, but do they have the weapons to move it through the air against the Jets?
NFL Betting Preview: Outlook & Pick
It is always difficult for an east coast team to make the sports betting bonus trip to the west and perform at a high level in their opponent’s stadium, but the Jets should be ready for this game. That close finish week one may have been a blessing in disguise for a New York team that didn’t seem to take anything for granted in week one, and they will need to play with urgency as they begin a string of three-straight on the road against the Raiders, Baltimore Ravens, and New England.
