Rams Jaguars Betting – Rams Look To Keep Perfect Preseason Intact With Trip To Jacksonville
After falling just short in the final game of the regular season a year ago and missing out on the postseason, the St. Louis Rams vowed to come back with a fighting resolve and finish off what they couldn’t a year ago. With an undefeated record through the first three games of the sports betting preseason it appears as though the Rams are on track, as they look to wrap up their exhibition schedule undefeated against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

NFL Betting Lines: Jacksonville Jaguars – 3.5
Unlike the Rams, the transition period to end the summer hasn’t been very smooth for Jacksonville, which lost in overtime to the Buffalo Bills last week to continue the roller coaster preseason. The Jaguars have shown a lot of good signs so far, but there have also been some red flags along the way.
NFL Betting Preview: St. Louis Rams
The Rams have been very methodical in their approach to this preseason, using a power-running game to open things up for the air attack, and using a lot of short routes and quick slants to move the ball downfield. It has definitely worked for them so far after they reeled off three straight wins, and with one stop left they won’t be caught looking ahead to their regular season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles. The defense has progressed in every year since head coach Steve Spagnuolo took over, and it may finally be at a sports betting bonus level capable of ranking in the top-20.
NFL Betting Preview: Jacksonville Jaguars
The time clock is ticking down on the veteran core in Jacksonville, and another unsuccessful season will leave huge question marks going forward for David Garrard, Maurice Jones-Drew, and most importantly head coach Jack Del Rio. Many feel as though Del Rio was spared his job because of the fact that ownership didn’t want to bring on a new head coach in the middle of a lockout year, but there is little doubt that they will pull the plug this time around if necessary. The Jaguars have a lot of weapons on both sides of the ball, the problem is that there haven’t been enough to cover up their many holes, and it doesn’t appear as though that has changed this year.
NFL Betting Preview: Outlook & Pick
Fans in the Jacksonville area seem to prefer their fishing over football on Sunday, leading the franchise to schedule even more blackout dates for this year. Filling the stands has long been a problem for the Jaguars, and it wouldn’t surprise if another failed season leads to ownership making a move similar to the one that the Rams made a couple of seasons ago, as they brought in Spagnuolo to prepare the team for the long term.
