Redskins Dolphins Betting – Redskins Look To Break Out Of Slump Against No Longer Winless Dolphins
It took nine weeks to get it done, but after coming up short several times the Miami Dolphins were finally able to get in to the win column last Sunday, and they did it in impressive fashion with a 31-3 beatdown of the Kansas City Chiefs on the road. While it took quite some time for Miami to finally get on the board with its first victory, it has to feel like even longer between wins for Washington Redskins’ fans who have watched their optimism slowly disappear following a fast start. The Redskins have lose four straight to fall to the bottom of the NFC East, and will need to stop the bleeding this weekend against the Dolphins to have any shot at the sports betting postseason.

NFL Betting Lines: Miami Dolphins - 4
The bye week couldn’t have come at a worse time for a Washington team that had won three of its first four, as the ‘Skins have since lost four straight by an average of more than two scores. While Miami hasn’t been a contender this season, they are coming off of a big win and should be playing with confidence as they return home for consecutive contests.
Redskins Dolphins Betting Preview: Washington Redskins
While it would be easy to blame the offense for a lack of production, the defense hasn’t been much better as the Redskins have faded away this season. It didn’t take head coach Mike Shanahan long to realize that Rex Grossman would not be his guy, but the team hasn’t won since he turned to John Beck, who has thrown just two touchdowns in four games. Washington hasn’t officially turned the page and given up on the season just yet, but unless they can get it together this week it may be time to look towards the future. With running back Tim Hightower injured, the offense will once again go through Beck this Sunday. If the defense plays well he shouldn’t have to do too much, but even then it’s hard to depend on him.
Redskins Dolphins Betting Preview: Miami Dolphins
After blowing a couple of chances to get their first win earlier in the season, the Dolphins made a statement on the road in one of the most hostile environments in the NFL, blowing away the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium in a game they dominated in nearly every aspect. Quarterback Matt Moore threw for 244 yards and three touchdowns, while Reggie Bush nearly hit the 100-yard mark with 92 on the ground. Miami wasn’t able to force any turnovers, but played good enough that they didn’t have to, something the online wagering team will look to build on going forward.
Redskins Dolphins Betting Preview: Outlook & Pick
Few would have projected less than a month ago that the Dolphins would be favored in this game by more than a field goal, but after taking care of the Chiefs there is nothing that suggests that they can’t put together consecutive wins when they face the struggling Redskins. Even with their recent effort, Miami won’t put up many wins this season, and this one should be close until the end.
