Redskins Seahawks Betting – Seattle Continues To Roll, Pile Pressure On Redskins
With only six games remaining in the NFL regular season, the time is now for the true contenders to separate from the pretenders and put themselves in position to clinch a playoff spot in their respective conferences. Unlike in past seasons, not a single team has managed to distance themselves from the pack in the AFC, and there are five teams currently within one game of the final Wild Card spot, four of which are at .500. While that may seem like a lot of math the sports betting concept is simple: If you want to make the postseason, you have to win now.

NFL Betting Lines: New York Jets – 9
While at one point or another this season the Bills and Jets have both looked like playoff teams, the two AFC East rivals have combined to lose five straight ahead of their divisional battle this weekend. At .500, both teams are just one game back of the final AFC Wild Card spot, but while a win will be a major boost to one team, a loss will be devastating for the other.
Bills Jets Betting Preview: Buffalo Bills
The Bills exploded out of the gate with five wins through their first seven contests, but in the weeks since have come down to earth in brutal fashion. Wins over the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles gave Buffalo the look of a playoff team, but three straight double-digit losses were accentuated by a 35-8 blowout defeat at the hands of the lowly Miami Dolphins last weekend. While running back Fred Jackson has been a consistent performer, quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has really struggled of late, and the defense hasn’t been able to create turnovers the way they did earlier on in the year, exposing one of the league’s worst units overall.
Bills Jets Betting Preview: New York Jets
It hasn’t been much prettier for the Jets of late, especially after allowing Tim Tebow to march down the field and score the winning touchdown late in the fourth quarter of a game that they absolutely should have won. While the New York defense still ranks in the top-10, they haven’t been nearly as dominant as in past years when they were able to shut down opponents when it mattered most. Quarterback Mark Sanchez has not developed the way the coaching staff would have liked, and even after scaling back the offense to allow more sportsbooks carries for the running backs, the Jets have still struggled to move the ball.
Bills Jets Betting Preview: Outlook & Pick
Another Jets’ loss could send head coach Rex Ryan on another swearing rant regardless of the fine he gets this week, but it won’t be easy against a Buffalo team that has showed its resiliency this season. This contest means everything to both teams, only adding to the intensity of a divisional rivalry. New York won the first game between these teams by 16, but even if they come out on top in this one it should be a closer final score.
