Saints Raiders Betting – Saints Look To Flex Muscle In Week Three Against Raiders
Despite looking live a much-improved roster when they welcomed the San Francisco 49ers to town in week one of the preseason, the New Orleans Saints looked awful against the Houston Texans in week two, and the truth is that we probably haven’t seen their true potential just yet. Week three of the preseason usually means that the starters get most of the first three quarters of actions so we should get a better look at the Saints this week, as well as the team they will face, the Oakland Raiders.

NFL Betting Lines: New Orleans Saints – 4.5
There may not be any surprises when it comes to the Raiders, who have opened the season with consecutive losses and could have a tough time putting things together for this game. Oakland came into this camp with a new head coach and still has one of the biggest offensive playbooks in the NFL under coordinator Al Saunders, so they will need time to adjust.
NFL Betting Preview: New Orleans Saints
The Saints have gotten bigger and stronger on both sides of the ball, with the addition of rookie running back Mark Ingram on offense and the additions of Shaun Rogers and Aubrayo Franklin on defense to help stop the run. Franklin won’t play in this game because of a lower body injury, but Rogers should be a go and next to Sedrick Ellis the New Orleans defensive line looks massive. The Saints will still air it out on offense, only with the balances running attack that will help put games away, with a lot of that responsibility on the shoulders of Ingram, who has looked solid this sports betting preseason.
NFL Betting Preview: Oakland Raiders
The Raiders have a couple of solid running backs of their own in Darren McFadden and Michael Bush, and it will be up to them to take some of the pressure off of starting quarterback Jason Campbell. Campbell has looked more confident in the pocket this preseason, but he will still need to be more consistent. The Oakland defense is trying to come together following the loss of cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha, which completely changes the outlook of attacking this team. It won’t be easy without an elite corner shutting down half of the field, but the Raiders do have some talent to turn to in the secondary.
NFL Betting Preview: Outlook & Pick
It is uncertain whether or not Terrelle Pryor will be in the lineup for this sports betting bonus game, and perhaps he should be to give fans in Oakland a reason to cheer. Either way, the Saints are coming off of a tough loss and looking for a good show in week three of the preseason with their starters in for three quarters, and that means this one could get ugly in a hurry if the Raiders can’t answer on offense.
NFL Betting Pick: New Orleans Saints – 4.5
