Seahawks Rams Betting – Rams Can Move Into Tie For Division Lead With A Win Sunday
Given the team’s struggles over the past couple of seasons, it almost seems comical to state that the St. Louis Rams are currently just one game out of first place in the NFC West, but that is the case after head coach Steve Spagnuolo’s team knocked off the Washington Redskins 30-16 this past Sunday. Despite opening with consecutive losses, the Rams trail the Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals by one win in the division, and considering the Cardinals have a tough road game at the San Diego Chargers this week, St. Louis could very well be tied for top spot in the NFC West after the first quarter of the regular season.

Why To Bet On The Seahawks?
The Seattle Seahawks appear to have regained the offensive flare that they lacked last season under head coach Jim Mora Jr., and while their defense hasn’t necessarily reached its potential, Seattle is finding ways to win games. Running back Leon Washington returned two kick-off returns for touchdowns in their 27-20 week three win over San Diego, while quarterback Matt Hasselbeck threw for 220 yards and a touchdown. The Seahawks still haven’t hit their stride in the running game this season, but with wide receiver Deion Branch and tight end John Carlson leading the charge on offense, they should be fine against the Rams. St. Louis quarterback Sam Bradford had too much time in the pocket in their win over the Redskins, and it will be on the Seattle front four to get pressure on the rookie and throw him off of his game.
Why To Bet On The Rams?
Running backs Stephen Jackson and Kenneth Darby combined for 107 yards and two scores in the Rams’ win over Washington this past Sunday, and more importantly, St. Louis’ ability to establish a ground game early on helped open things for the passing game. While Stafford still hasn’t played an entire game mistake-free, the 2010 college football betting’s first overall draft pick has made progress with every game. The Rams lost their first two games by a combined total of six points, and after the biggest offensive showing for the team under Spagnuolo, it seems as though things are finally starting to click in Missouri.
How The Game Will Play Out
Seattle has been phenomenal at home, but struggled in their only road game against the 1-2 Broncos. Still, they are easily more talented on both sides of the ball than the Rams, and should be able to take advantage of a wonderful opportunity to climb back on top of the NFC West. While the Rams have shown marked sports book improvement, they are still not ready to compete for the division title, and while this one should be close, the spread is small enough to confidently take Seattle.
