Super Bowl Babes – They Make Football Even Better
The chase for the Super Bowl betting title remains focused on getting to the big game. But for the fans in the stands that are watching, it can be hard at times not to be distracted.
The Atlanta Falcons hosted the Green Bay Packers at the Georgia Dome, and as the favorites to win the NFC, the Falcons hoped to avoid the same fate that the Philadelphia Eagles suffered a week before in the wild card round. The Falcons relied on running back Michael Turner to break some big runs against a Green Bay defense that had a tougher time against the pass than they did the run. The Packers answered with the pass attack with high-powered quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the key running of running back James Starks.
The other NFC matchup featured a determined football betting Seattle Seahawks’ team looking to provide another big upset. However, Seattle did not have the home field advantage they had in their Wild Card weekend win over the defending Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints, including Amanda, and that made it tough.
It was a difficult adjustment at Soldier Field, where the Bears won five of their eight home games this year. Chicago put the game on Seattle quarterback Matt Hasselbeck’s arm by stuffing the run with their second-ranked rush defense. The end result was a huge win for the Chicago Bears.
Meanwhile in the AFC, things got much nastier with a couple of major rivalry games that these girls just love.
The Baltimore Ravens finally solved Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts to get to the AFC Divisional round, but it did not get any easier against the AFC North rival Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers had the extra week off to rest and prepare for this game, and were ready for the physical style of play this game demanded. The Ravens had lost the previous six games against Pittsburgh with Ben Roethlisberger in the sports betting lineup, and that was a major factor in this game.
Meanwhile, the New York Jets went to Foxborough for a rematch against the New England Patriots, just weeks after being blown away 45-3. The Jets consistently tried to lure the Patriots in to a war of words, but had little luck in that category leading up to the game. New England has made a commitment to letting its play on the field do the talking, but they could not pull off the same dominating performance against the Jets that they had enjoyed in the regular season. The Jets had a ton of fans that made the trip from New York, but that didn’t compare to the thousands on hand at Gillette Stadium wearing Patriots’ uniform. The only question remains, did Giselle make the trip?
