Tips For Betting On Broncos Falcons – High-Flying Falcons Host Manning, Broncos On Monday Night Football
Peyton Manning looked just fine in his regular season debut for the Denver Broncos in a 31-19 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football week one. Now he will have to raise his level of play once again as the Broncos visit Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football in week two. Ryan looked like an elite quarterback in a 40-24 week one win over the Kansas City Chiefs in which he threw for 299 yards and three touchdowns and ran for another score. That sets up what could be the highest scoring game of the online betting week, as Manning and the Denver offense look to keep up with the high-flying Falcons.

NFL Betting Line: Atlanta Falcons – 3
While Manning has spent the last year working his way back from injury, Ryan has emerged as one of the NFL’s top passers after four seasons. Last week’s win over the Chiefs was a sign the Falcons’ offense has arrived as one of the best in the league, but consistency will be the key to determining that.
NFL Betting Preview: Denver Broncos
The Broncos hope they can also have one of the best offenses in the league under Manning, who looked very good against a Steelers’ defense that finished first in the NFL against the pass a year ago. Manning should be even more comfortable against an Atlanta defense that was torched by Matt Cassel and the Chiefs in the first half last week, so it will be on the defense to make the difference. Denver is able to generate a ton of pressure in obvious pass situations and force opposing quarterbacks in to making mistakes, but they will also have to contain Michael Turner and the run game as well.
NFL Betting Preview: Atlanta Falcons
That balance is what separates Atlanta from most of the other offenses in the NFL, as the threat of Turner makes it difficult to attack Ryan when he drops back looking for Julio Jones, Roddy White, and Tony Gonzalez. The Falcons have a ton of weapons on that side of the ball, and it will be interesting to see how they attack the Broncos at home in a dome. The Atlanta defense has some good pieces up front but will have to compensate for the loss of injured cornerback Brent Grimes. The Falcons have two solid starters in Asante Samuel and Dunta Robinson, but will miss that third corner against Manning.
NFL Betting Preview: Outlook & Pick
After delivering on the road week one, don’t expect Atlanta to slow down at all in its home opener week two as Ryan and the offense look to push right through the Broncos after scoring at will against Kansas City last week. How close this sports betting contest remains will depend on how Manning is able to work his magic in the pocket, and if he struggles a little the Falcons could put it away.
