Titans Colts Betting – Colts Look To Clinch AFC South
The sports betting online in the NFL preseason was buzzing about Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts going back to the Super Bowl to win it after losing to the New Orleans Saints last season. But, when the season finally started, the Colts fell flat. At times it was injuries that seemed to undo the Colts, and then their future hall of fame quarterback Peyton Manning seemed to slide into a funk. Now the Colts are on track, and they play the Tennessee Titans in week 17 to try and clinch the AFC South.

What’s On The Line
The Colts (9-6) looked down and out for a good part of the 2010 season. But they have rallied back and have a chance to clinch the AFC South with a win in this game. The Titans (6-9) were rolling along just fine until quarterback Vince Young started to melt down and then was lost for the season. Things are not good in Music City, and there may be some changes coming.
Offensive Matchups: Titans Colts Betting
Normally, it isn’t a surprise when the Colts have the best passing game in the league. But this year it was a struggle for Peyton Manning. Tight end, and favorite Manning target, Dallas Clark was lost for the year early in the season and wide receiver Austin Collie was in and out of the line-up. It almost looked like Manning was using the injuries as an excuse to play sloppy football. It does not help that the Colts have almost no running game. But in the last four weeks, Peyton Manning has turned himself around and is on the winning track.
Titans head coach Jeff Fisher caused an uproar in Memphis when he appeared at a public function wearing a Peyton Manning jersey and proclaiming that he just wanted to see what it felt like to be a winner. Fisher has been fading away as the Titans coach for the last couple of seasons, but it is extremely evident this year. Fisher and Vince Young had their annual falling out, and the Tennessee wide receivers have not been able to produce since Young was taken from the line-up.

Defensive Matchups: Titans Colts Betting
The Colts usually rely on the defense to close out games for them, but this season injuries have prevented the defense from being effective. Now that defensive lineman Dwight Freeney, linebacker Gary Brackett and defensive lineman Robert Mathis are all healthy and playing; the Colts defense looks ready for the playoffs.
The Titans still try to intimidate offensive opponents through rough tactics and reckless play, but that will not bother the Colts. The Titans are awful against the pass and, when you are getting ready to face a great passer, that is not a good thing.

Outlook and Pick: Titans Colts Betting
It has been a long time since the football betting world has seen Jeff Fisher in this much hot water. There are rumors that Fisher may be fired when this game is over. The Colts, on the other hand, have showed the ability to rally through difficult times and put themselves in a position to decide their own playoff fate.
Stan’s Pick: Indianapolis Colts
