How to parlay bet – win bigger payouts

Offshore sportsbook betting - Parlays: rake in bigger profits

  • Learning how to parlay bet is easy
  • What is parlay betting?
  • Maximize profits and minimize losses

In most cases, when you bet sports you do it the old-fashioned way. Lay down $110 to win $100 and essentially double-up if you correctly win.

With a parlay bet you connect two or more games together; you must pick both games correctly to win your bet. If and when both games do win, you’re payout is significantly bigger than just simply doubling-up.

A simple three-game parlay pays 6.5-1, which is a phenomenal payout.

Think of it is this way: if you’re placing three separate bets for $50, why not just parlay them to get a shot at a huge payout? If you hit the three-game parlay once out of every six times, you still do better than break even.

It’s also a good way to minimize your losses. If you bet to win $50 for three separate games ($55 x 3 = $165) and two of the three lose, you are down $60. But had you played a parlay for $50, you would only be down your $50 regardless.

The good thing about parlays is that even though the more games you throw into the equation, the tougher it becomes to win it, your payout remains even better than the risk.

Not many sportsbook allow for crazy parlays, cutting you off at about 14 or 15 games. BetOnline.com allows you to go all the way up to a 25-game parlay, which is unheard of. And by the way, a 25 game parlay pays 9600-to-1. How's that for best parlay odds, eh?

Parlays are often scoffed at like the crust of the sandwich but, realistically, there’s some great value to be had. The sharp online sportsbook bettor will give it a good chance.

Stan Simmons first tasted football through the college game, but his football handicapping has strictly focused on the professional sport. Not many people devote as much time to the NFL as Simmons. For six days a week he works, labors and handicaps the sport, and on the seventh he rests as the games play out. Thoughts or questions? Email Comments@BetOnline.com.
