Weekend Betting Preview – June 20-21
Sports betting players will have no shortage of action this weekend, as baseball betting players can go over their College World Series odds as well as a full slate of games in the majors. US Open betting odds will also be hot, along with NASCAR odds.
College World Series Odds
The finals aren’t until Monday, but the teams will be decided as of Saturday, as LSU, Arkansas, Arizona State and Texas have made it to the final four. LSU is favored in their Friday afternoon meeting with Arkansas, while Arizona State is tipped to defeat Texas in your offshore sportsbook.
MLB Betting
There are at least five series that should interest online sports wagering players this weekend, beginning with White Sox Reds odds, with Cincinnati as the favorites at home. Dodgers Angels odds are favoring the Angels at home, but they’ll have their hands full with their city rivals - who happen to own the best record in baseball. Rays Mets odds are backing New York at home, but Tampa Bay heads into this series on a roll, while New York has been battling inconsistency and injury all season. Rangers Giants odds features a battle of hitting versus pitching, but betting services are favoring the pitching-heavy Giants at home in this interleague series. Finally, the AL and NL Central leaders go head-to-head in the Motor City, and sports betting lines are backing the Detroit in these Brewers Tigers odds.
US Open Betting Odds
The US Open has been plagued by rain as Thursday’s round was suspended, which could lead to a Monday finish. Sportsbook favorite Tiger Woods struggled to a +4 score in his first round, but never count out the world’s No.1 player. Tiger’s only missed the cut in one major championship, which was the 2006 US Open, and that was shortly after the death of his father.
NASCAR Odds
Right turns will be the story of Sunday’s race, the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Infineon Raceway, one of only two road courses on the Sprint Cup schedule. Kyle Busch is the defending race-winner and he’s favored by sportsbooks, but he’ll have to deal with Jeff Gordon (five), Tony Stewart (two), and Juan Pablo Montoya (one), who have eight wins at Infineon between them, as well as Marcos Ambrose, who could pull off a NASCAR betting surprise for his first Cup win.
