Nigeria South Korea Betting – South Korean Hopes Still Alive Entering Group Stage Finale
After proving to be no match for mighty Argentina in their Group B online sports betting second game of the tournament, the Korean Republic have fallen in to a tie with Greece for the second spot in the division. Now, all that stands between them and the final qualification spot in to the round of 16 is a match with Nigeria, who after consecutive losses to open the 2010 World Cup betting games are no longer in control of their own destiny. Nigeria will need to achieve maximum points against South Korea, while also counting on group leader Argentina to remain ambitious enough to knock off Greece in order to secure top spot. Although it must be considered the unlikeliest of results, there is still potential that Nigeria can advance.

Team Nigeria – Betting Preview
Following a close result against the heavily favored Argentina side, many observers felt that Nigeria still had a strong soccer betting chance of reaching the round of 16 with a pair of games against seemingly beatable opponents. However, a defeat at the hands of Greece, who had already fallen in their opener against the Korean Republic has quieted the Vuvuzelas for the time being. Nigeria must now find confidence in that a win over South Korea will put them in excellent position to advance, given the result that their next opponent suffered to Argentina, and the fact that the South American’s seem to be getting stronger with each game heading in to their finale with Greece.
Team South Korea – Betting Preview
An opening 2-0 win over Greece had many World Cup predictions spoiled after only one game, and with the added confidence that was supposed to come with a strong tactical game based on speed and aggression, the South Koreans were expected to at least be competitive against Argentina. That was not the case however as the group leaders soundly defeated the Korean Republic 4-1, exposing them for their lack of ability to maintain their game plan while dealing with the aggressive offensive onslaught. Still, hopes that Asia will be represented in the round of 16 remain legitimate, as South Korea needs only a win over the only winless team in their group to ensure their spot.
Who To Bet On?
Despite South Korea’s excellent performance against Greece in their opening win, they seemed to be exhausted near the end of their loss to Argentina, and will now have to take on a hungry Nigerian side still looking for its first World Cup win on its home continent. Despite their performance so far in this tournament, Nigeria can still advance with a win and a little help from the top-ranked Argentina, and it is very likely they will get it as the group leaders look to secure top spot in the division, while building for the next round.
