Tips For Betting On Bulls Heat – Heat, Relieved To Be At Home, Prepare For The Bulls

The Miami Heat took their lumps on a recent road trip, losing to both Detroit and Milwaukee on back-to-back nights. The world champions will try to regroup this Friday at home.

Why Chicago Will Win

Even if you don't care for online casino games, you have to marvel at the way in which the Miami Heat have tumbled in recent weeks. The Heat were rolling along, having won six straight games and marching forward on their schedule without very much difficulty, and then just like that, they played two awful games on consecutive nights against mediocre opponents. It was understandable that Miami lost to Detroit on Friday, Dec. 28, because the Heat were without guard Dwyane Wade, suspended for that game due to a violent act against Charlotte's Ramon Sessions in a Dec. 26 contest. However, when Wade returned to the lineup on Dec. 29 at Milwaukee, the Heat – with fresh legs from one of their superstars – should have been able to blow by the Bucks and play a highly efficient game. Instead, Miami imploded in a104-85 defeat. The Heat didn't show up against the Bucks, committing 20 turnovers while forcing only five with a defense that has clearly regressed.

Even when the Heat came back to beat the Orlando Magic in overtime this past Monday, it's not as though the defending champions played well. Miami allowed Orlando's Nicola Vucevic to score 29 points and pull down 20 rebounds. That's an appallingly weak defensive effort on an evening when Orlando scored 110 points. Miami has hit another one of the lulls that has jumped up and bit the Heat this season. Miami lost consecutive games on Dec. 4 and Dec. 6 to Washington and New York. It lost twice in a three-game stretch from Nov. 11 through Nov. 14 against Memphis and the Los Angeles Clippers. This is another valley for the Heat, and Chicago is poised to take advantage of this reality.

Why Miami Will Win

When football betting gurus with relatively minimal basketball expertise assess the chances of the favored Heat, they will acknowledge that they don't know everything there is to know about basketball. Yet, they can look at the recent NBA schedule and arrive at a simple yet powerful conclusion: The Chicago Bulls are not playing well.
The Bulls supposedly got a break this past week when their Dec. 26 game at Indiana was postponed. Chicago had to play on Christmas Night – in an ugly loss against Houston – so the Bulls probably welcomed the night off. They probably would have lost that game, and so when they returned to the court on Dec. 29 against Washington, they were able to play very active defense. The Bulls limited the Wizards to just 77 points in a comfortable win. The Bulls seemed to be in a position where they could continue to dominate mediocre opponents. However, that's precisely when Chicago fell off the path.

The Bulls, playing at home on Dec. 31, lost to the lowly Charlotte Bobcats. What's more is that the Bulls lost by 10 points, not merely one or two possessions. Charlotte snapped its 17-game losing streak at the Bulls' expense. There cannot be a bigger indictment of a team's level of play than to lose by 10 at home to a team on a 17-game losing skid.

Who Will Win

It’s not a debate: Miami is playing mediocre ball, but Chicago is playing worse at the moment. The Heat should be able to get healthy against the struggling Bulls.
