How To Bet On Georgia Indiana – Georgia Tries To Find Its Form Against Indiana

The Georgia Bulldogs and the Indiana Hoosiers will play in the Legends Classic semifinals on Monday night, participating in one of many neutral site mini-tournaments in autumn.

Why Georgia Will Win

Legal online sports betting analysts are fairly convinced that this will be an Indiana romp, but the main thing to realize from a Georgia perspective is that November basketball can and does and will provide a lot of very confusing and jarring results. UNLV beat North Carolina last November. Kansas, a team that wound up making the national championship game at the Final Four, struggled against multiple foes with markedly inferior athletes. Michigan State, which became a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament, looked nothing close to a top seed in a progression of ugly losses. This is simply a weird month. Players are getting used to coaches while trying to establish a rapport with their teammates on the court. Halfcourt offenses lack structure, rhythm and form.

Defenses take time to become seamless units, due to the fact that players need to talk and create other methods of communication on defense. These instincts and habits need time to become a part of a team's DNA, its daily method on the floor. Indiana has to go through this process just like any other team. The Hoosiers have not tested themselves yet this season, so if Georgia – which has struggled – can learn from its own hardships and play a high level of defense, it can be competitive inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
The Bulldogs will treat this game as a big deal, while Indiana might very well look at it as just another game on the schedule, a stepping stone to bigger events. If that's the psychological reality, and Indiana doesn't invest itself in this game, things could get interesting in a hurry.

Why Indiana Will Win

When NCAA football betting gurus size up Indiana football, they immediately downgrade the Hoosiers. When basketball people assess Indiana, they see championship potential. There's no question that the Hoosiers are loaded this season, owning a starting five that should be able to score a lot of points in each and every game. What will help Indiana in this contest is that the Hoosiers will be facing an opponent that can't shoot.

Georgia is shooting 37 percent from the field in three games against teams from smaller conferences. The Bulldogs' worst game of the young season came on Monday against Youngstown State. Guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope did his part for Georgia, hitting 10 of 18 shots, but the other four starters on the Bulldogs went a combined 4 of 28 from the field. Even with Caldwell-Pope's brilliance included in the final stats, Georgia's starting five hit just 14 shots in 46 attempts, less than 33 percent. Indiana won't have to shoot the lights out to win. Solid defense and rebounding should be enough against Georgia.

Who Will Win

This is a blowout in the making. It's hard to see how Georgia will be able to generate anything close to the firepower that's needed to beat a team as talented as Indiana. Georgia is just not very threatening. Take Indiana and run.
