Bengals Colts Betting Predictions - Andrew Luck Is Still On The Job As Colts Tackle Bengals
The Indianapolis Colts probably can't do what other NFL teams normally do in an exhibition finale – they'll find that they'll need to give their starting quarterback some more repetitions.

Why Cincinnati Will Win
An mma betting student knows that mixed martial arts is a sport in which the pride of the competitors is always on the line. Each competition puts a reputation at risk. Professional athletes of all stripes know this. After one day's failure, the next game or event is always a time for redemption, to prove oneself anew and wipe away the bitter taste of a bad performance. This motivational factor is why Cincinnati could very well bounce back against Indianapolis.
The Bengals were bad in week three of the exhibition season against the Green Bay Packers. The Bengals' first-team defense promptly got shredded by the Packers' first-string offense, surrendering two quick touchdowns in the first quarter. The Bengals' offense didn't put up much of a fight, either, tallying just 195 yards for the entire 60 minutes. Frontline players, backup players, it didn't matter – Cincinnati struggled with the exception of its second-team defense.
When one realizes that the Bengals gave up a pick-six to the Packers, their offense (by scoring 13 points but giving up seven) scored a net total of only six points. This was a very poor outing for head coach Marvin Lewis's club, and any group of coaches or players will want to follow a stinker with a more sublime effort in the next game. This is why Cincinnati might play with a welcome edge on Thursday, which would enable the Bengals to notch a victory against the Colts.
Why Indianapolis Will Win
When online football betting pundits try to make sense of the tricky entity known as an NFL preseason finale, they're going to account for several realities, one of them being that this is not a game in which an NFL team is going to pamper its starting quarterback. For most teams in the National Football League, the starting quarterback gets at least three quarters off in the final exhibition contest, if not all four.
However, with young Andrew Luck trying to accumulate as much in-game and on-field experience as possible before his regular season debut on Sept. 9, the Colts figure to keep their main signal caller on the field for at least a quarter and a half if not more. Indianapolis has pushed the reset button with all of its offseason transactions. This franchise is starting from the ground up, trying to build a new team with a new coaching staff and a radically revamped roster. This is very much a situation in which an NFL team is not going to blow off an exhibition finale just before the regular season. The Colts are aware of the need to develop themselves each time they step on the gridiron.
Who Will Win
It’s true that Cincinnati might play harder than it did against Green Bay last week, but with Andrew Luck needing more snaps, the Colts will play more first-team players and therefore win. Pick the Colts on Thursday.
